What a beautiful spot. We were able to spend 99.9% of our time outside and never tired of the waterfront views. Were able to take nice walks in the area on a nearby trail and the road as there was very little traffic. The cottage is rustic and served our needs just fine. The dock was very handy as we brought a small boat with us. There is one for use at the cottage as well. The owners are very pleasant and helpful. We never tired of sitting by the lake and having a nightly fire. What an absolutely wonderful time! Thank you for renting your beautiful space to us. (Travelled Sept11-18 :2 adults and 1 dog)

Nice Lake
Nice lake but weedy. This cottage dose not have a beach like it says. The beach it out front of the owners cottage only. There is no clearing for this cottage only a dock. All of the pictures of the cottage are accurate. It is well equipped in the kitchen but you need to bring beding, towels, paper towel, toilet paper, cling wrap, tin foil, baggies, garbage bags etc. The cottage is only as clean as the people before you leave it. Owner is a very nice man and very helpful. Nice playground with community beach 4 mins down the road.
.
Loved the scenery, the house is small but well arranged. I wood stove and absolutely no cell (not necessarily a bad thing) as there is a landline and fairly decent internet (was able to do some basic streaming). Host was very friendly. We brought the dogs and had a blast. Fun excursions (glass blowing, astronomy, walk through sculpture forest, etc in nearby towns)
Had a fantastic week away with the family. Daryl was delightful to meet at checkin and answered all questions. The cottage was very clean and the beds were comfortable. Lake was great for fishing off dock and rowboat/paddle boat. Only complaint is the seaweed off dock (kids were scared) which cannot be helped. Perfect getaway on quiet lake.

Haliburton Highlands
Beautiful area. No walking trails to be found. Extremely limited cellphone service. You really need to bring a boat or another activity to do.
Accessible for everyone and ideal for pets. The cottage is well maintained and equipped and has a beautiful view of the lake. Boats and dock are provided and the lake is safe for all water activities. The surrounding area has a great public beach site which is suitable for small children, good shopping and is pleasant to explore. The owner was at all times helpful and aware of our needs. We had a wonderful stay.
Beautiful lake and property, was exactly what we wanted
