This property was the perfect fit for our week long ski trip! It was near Burke Mountain, but centrally located to easily drive to Jay Peak, Owl’s Head in Quebec, and Cannon Mountain in New Hampshire. These were all INDY Pass Mountains. There were a few more INDY options within 90 minutes, but we chose these as they were the biggest/best for our crew. The house was comfortable, modern, and a relaxing place to come “home” to after skiing each day. Heidi and Marc made sure that we had everything we needed, which we did. We would stay here again, if we are ever lucky enough to head to Vermont again…
From the detail oriented hosts to the house with all the amenities you need, this is the perfect place to bring family or friends for a few nights in VT!
We had a great stay at Heidi and Marc’s. They communicated regularly with us. The house is beautiful and comfortable with all the amenities we needed for a long weekend away.
Beautiful home in a remote location but close enough to town for stores and restaurants in the area. Very clean, comfortable home that was perfect for our needs. Owners are awesome, very professional and responsive.
This cabin in the Vermont Northeast Kingdom was a 10/10.Check-in directions were detailed and easy. The house was beautifully appointed and clean. We will definitely return if we ever come back to the area.
This place did not disappoint! Exactly as pictured and described. Comfortable, spacious, with everything you need for an amazing stay. Decor is inviting and chic. Property was secluded and relaxing. Owners were friendly and easy to reach. Highly recommend!
This place is exactly as advertised. Every room is meticulously cleaned and decorated in an inviting way. The owners are very responsive. I would highly recommend this place as a perfect getaway, or for a family vacation.
The house is newly built, immaculate, and exactly as shown in the pictures. It was decorated so beautiful for Christmas. The house is in a good central location for day trips to Woodstock, Stowe and even to Portland, ME. The kitchen was fully equipped, bathrooms stocked, and bedrooms had nice comfortable mattresses and bedding. The fireplace was an added bonus. We throughly enjoyed our stay here. Heidi was an excellent host. Communicated regularly making sure everything was okay with our stay. The check-in/check-out process was super easy too. Quiet location, but also a short distance to town. We definitely hope to visit again in the near future. You will not be disappointed with this rental or hosts!! 10 out of 10 recommend!!!!
This vacation rental was absolutely fantastic! From the moment we walked in, we were impressed by how clean and well-maintained everything was. The décor was lovely and made us feel right at home. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed, and we especially appreciated the little touches like the complimentary maple syrup. The location was perfect for exploring the area, with easy access to the town of Lyndonville and Vermont State University and the local attractions (ie. Burke Mountain, Kingdom Trails, Lake Willoughby). After a long day of sightseeing, it was wonderful to come back to such a comfortable and relaxing space. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and we all slept soundly. The host was also Incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our stay. They provided clear instructions for check-in and check-out and were quick to answer any questions we had.Overall, this vacation rental exceeded our expectations. We had a wonderful time and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, convenient, and well-managed place to stay. We’re already looking forward to our next trip in May for VTSU graduation!!
We didn't want to go home this house was so relaxing, it made the trip for us! Everything was beyond our expectations and it was the perfect place to come back to after a day of mountain biking. We appreciated the luxurious detail the hosts had given throughout the house; from the kitchen amenities, the crockpot that we forgot to bring, to the beautiful cookware that we enjoyed making dinner with, you can tell the hosts have gone above and beyond. This does not feel like your average VRBO. The washer and dryer are a big help after the trails as is the hose outside to wash the bikes. The game room upstairs was full stocked with board games, a packman arcade system, and books to read if you just wanted to sit out on the covered deck with the outdoor fireplace to relax. The decor reflects the beautiful scenery. Birch trees, pines, and rocks are outside every window. Check in and check out was seamless and the hosts were very responsive. Location is very close to the KT mountain bike trailheads and Burke Mountain ski resort, we were just as excited to come back from a long day and relax as we were to hike and bike. Can't wait to come back!
Ever want to pitch a tent in a clearing that was so peaceful that all you could hear was the wind blowing through the trees? No need for a tent because this amazing property provides just that and so much more. This new home has been thoughtfully designed and decorated. Its warm and simple interior is relaxing and not cluttered or distracting. The owners have furnished and equipped this home with the renters in mind. Everything you need in the kitchen, laundry and bath (soap, shampoo and conditioner) The laundry/ pantry has additional supplies, including a hairdryer, iron and ironing board, and crockpot. The deck is lovely with a teak dining table, grill and a separate sitting area with a gas fire pit. There is a gas fireplace in the living room with TV above. We were looking to unplug a bit so didn’t watch TV. There were also games, puzzles and books upstairs. Check in and out was simple and additional directions were clear and helpful. The owners were immediately responsive to any questions we had. We did a bit of driving in the area and out to Ben and Jerry’s and up to Stowe. We had really good pizza at The Pizza Man in town. We were looking for a peaceful getaway to unwind and this fit the bill. I’d happily stay here again.
Stayed 4 four days late Sept. All went well. Host very responsive to initial inquiry and Q’s. House is new, up on a hill with great views of mtns from the road in. Far enough from 91 so no road noise and no one driving by but still near trails in E Burke and Lake Willoughby. Used outside sitting area/deck over a few days- quiet, comfortable seating, surrounded by birch trees, no neighbors. Inside all excellent. Kitchen well equipped incl seasoned cast iron, baking pans and a nice knife block. We’ve had a few rentals with just basics; not here – it’s stocked and ready. Two private bedrooms, comfy w really nice king sz matresses. Linens all fine and bathrooms perfect – clean and everything worked, including great Hot W. Living room with gas fire and TV above. The windows throughout all had screens. There are ceiling fans but didn’t need them. Also should mention the games /game area upstairs was a bonus. would def stay again.
