Our stay at the Luxe at Abbey Villa was terrific. The villa was clean and had everything we needed. We were not expecting the pool to be completely under construction, which made for some very loud noise throughout one of the days, but Candace from Geneva Lakes Vacations was on it and so very helpful. Would definitely stay here again!

This condo was really lovely. The decor was warm and inviting, the beds were comfortable, and the kitchen had everything you could possibly need. The covered balcony was an added bonus and we ate many of our meals out there. Though the weather wasn't warm enough to use the pool, it looked brand new with plenty of lounge chairs. Communication with the owner was excellent. If you need groceries, I highly recommend Daniel's, a full-service grocery store that's 5 minutes drive from the condo. Overall, a great stay.

Nicely decorated condo. Plenty of fresh clean linens and comfy beds and bath supplies However, kitchen had not been cleaned—moldy coffee grounds in coffee maker, on old cup in the Kehrig, dirty sink, and messy table. We wanted to use the fireplace as we had a couple very cool and drizzly days—called maintenance and Kim came but didn’t know what was wrong, so she said she would send help to fix it the next day. No one ever came the next 2 days! Also, because the entire pool area right outside our balcony was under construction, we were awakened by big machinery working EVERY morning at 6:45!! Had not been told that construction would be happening and ongoing from 6:45-8pm! Couldn’t use the balcony until dark because of the noise and the many workers all around, and then the balcony string lights didn’t work because there was no battery in them! We did enjoy the walking paths near the marina. Should be lovely in the summer/fall when the construction is done. But get a new housekeeper for the kitchen!

We would have sent housekeeping back right away to take care of the coffee maker and any other cleaning concerns. Regarding the fireplace, we were unable to determine why the pilot wouldn't light and had planned to have a fireplace company diagnose the issue, but unfortunately they weren't able to get there before your departure. We apologize if there was any delay in communicating that. The pool construction was disclosed in the listing prior to your stay, and the project has since been completed. Thank you as well for pointing out the balcony lights, we'll make sure they're taken care of. We appreciate you taking the time to share your experience and your feedback. We hope to host you again sometime.
