This was a great place to stay! Wonderful views of the lake. You have all the amenities of home at this rental. Every room in this place is comfortable and welcoming. Having the ability to dock the boat so close to the room was so convenient! The owner was great to work with.

Very cozy and comfortable with a fantastic view. Great location to restaurant, pool, tennis court, weight room, and boat dock. Place was very well appointed with everything anyone could possibly need. We have stayed at several places around Smith Mountain lake and this was the best yet.

From beginning to end, this rental was a pure pleasure. The owners (Sandy) were prompt and informative regarding the property, answered all our questions, and WOW, what a place. VERY well stocked kitchen, all appliances and furniture fresh and clean, 50 steps to an easily accessed dock for our boat, etc. Beds were very comfortable and bathrooms were clean and nicely decorated. The grill on the deck got lots of use as did the outdoor furniture overlooking beautiful Smith Mt. Lake.We LOVED our stay at Peninsula Point Drive. 5 starts!!

A great stay!

We had a great stay at the end of the week into the weekend. We were attending a wedding nearby and the property was perfect. We were able to walk to and from the venue and the property was a great place to escape when we needed some quiet time. The views were great and the property was very clean and comfortable.

Our first time to SML did not disappoint. The place was perfect for our family of 4 - well stocked, great location, and amazing view. The owner even let us check in early which was super nice. Would absolutely recommend and will stay here again!

Must Stay if Visiting Smith Mountain Lake

For those looking to make a trip to Smith Mountain Lake, I couldn’t recommend staying at this property enough. It is clean and is in a prime location right on the lake. Bernard’s Landing is a great, quiet community for a relaxing getaway. The owner is very responsive and does a great job helping you make the most of your stay. Would absolutely stay here again if visiting Smith Mountain Lake!

Quiet neighborhood and wonderful stay

Perfect place for our family! If the lake is too chilly, you still have access to an outdoor and indoor pool. Quiet location and perfect for our toddler. Sandy’s place had everything we needed to (more than) comfortably get through the week!

Great location with good amenities!

Our family enjoyed our stay and this place had everything you'll need. This was a great option for our son's graduation weekend at Liberty University about one hour from campus. Loved our morning coffee on the patio overlooking the water and a quiet night with a vast selection of movies to choose from. Thank you for the stress free stay.
