Excellent location for activities on the Niobrara river and lake at Merritt Dam. Great views of the Sandhills landscape from the deck and from inside the cabin itself. The host was prompt and professional dealing with a minor repair issue that came up during our stay. The cabin was well stocked for what we needed.

Hill house was a beautiful property with great views. The host was very responsive and accomodating, and everything was thoughtfully stocked. I really wish there was a second bathroom, but that is the only negative. We had a wonderful stay!

This place was amazing! Absolutely love the lake cabin vibe and killer views of the Sandhills. It was a more expensive place than I typically go for but was totally worth it. They’ve thought of everything, VERY well equipped and stocked. Even had wheel caulks for parking the boat. We’ll be back someday.
