We had no issues with our stay. I loved that the check in steps were very simple especially with being in Chicago for the first time. It was stress free. It was clean and comfortable, we would definitely stay again!

Good communication from Rachel. Key lock box well lit at night. Modern, clean and appointed with everything needed for a comfortable 4-night stay. Good instructions pre-sent on how to arrive and leave. Hurt toe on sharp edge of raised bathroom edge from hall, but left note to consider adding curved bullnose edge (cheap and easy) to spare next visitor. Only "bad" bad thing was found bathroom floor had not been mopped and was very dirty. No biggie. Will come again.

The host messages you with a rental agreement to sign. The agreement has additional terms such as a potential 200 lock out fee, and agreement to pay legal fees. This is in addition to the house rules. I feel that more transparency in the listing about additional terms would be nice. Otherwise the place was nice, very nice balcony.

Our experience with this property was disappointing, not because of the home itself, but because of the host’s handling of an unexpected family medical emergency.We contacted the host just one day after the cancellation deadline to explain the situation and asked whether they could make an exception or offer any flexibility. The reservation had only been booked for a little over a week, but the request was declined with no accommodation.What concerned us most was that the host then attempted to cancel the reservation while still keeping our payment, which would have allowed the property to be rebooked for the same dates. That experience left us feeling that maximizing revenue was prioritized over treating guests fairly during a genuine emergency.If having a compassionate and flexible host is important to you when unexpected life events occur, you may want to consider other properties.

The stairs up to the third floor were tricky to navigate. The stairs wound around in a spiral fashion so getting luggage up to the third floor wasn't a breeze. Prior to check in, I was notified that there was an issue with the dishwasher, asking if I would mind if the technician accessed the property, and I said it wouldn't be a problem since we wouldn't be there until late. No technician arrived during our stay. The couch and beds were comfortable. But the walls in the bathroom and living room were grimy. Also the air vent in the living room was very dusty. The bathtub was also very slippery. The water pressure was good. It was nice that there were toiletries provided in the bathroom. The location was good. A couple of blocks to walk to restauraunts and a giant grocery store.

I picked this unit for price and location to friends and an area where I am knowledgeable. Found a parking fairly easily. We walked or took public transportation, so I could maintain the spot. The back porch was very comfy. The cons, the steps up to the unit. We are not youngsters and found them dangerous and not to code. One of us slipped down, due to the narrowing stairs around the inside turns. Just scratches.

Tolles Apartment / Tolle Lage / Sehr gute Kommunikation

Wir waren 2 Wochen in dem Apartment und haben es sehr genossen. Alles was mach braucht. Super Kommunikation mit den Vermietern mit detaillierter Beschreibung zum einchecken etc. Würde es immer wieder buchen.
