Good central location

The property feels like it was an inherited home that is still in the process of being cleaned out and updated. Lots of potential but not there yet. Did have a lovely back porch and was in a great location for Tufts veterinary school as well as the purple line into Boston.

Get Christmas experience

Host was great and even got us a requested Christmas tree! I have never stayed at a place that had better constant hot water for 5 people showers etc!The only downside was that the kitchen was not well equipped with cooking/serving items for people who like to cook some nice dinners in a weeks stay.

This house needs a lot of work

In my opinion this house does not align to reasonable standards for a VRBO house. The house has obviously not been fully renovated - there was tape over many light switches, walls, and windows. There are no screens in some windows. The second bathroom (in the basement) does not have a real door (it's a temporary door that is not attached to the ground). Most vents do not fit into the spaces they are in. Some light-switches did not work. Some of the plug covers were off and on the ground. Pieces of wood from the walls were laying about. Many of the lights/structures were crooked. The cleanliness was mostly fine - but the carpet had staining/dark marks on it and there was food underneath the sofa. We appreciated that there were a few couches and TVs - but the remote was missing for one TV, one was broken (had weird flashing of color/pixelization at the bottom) and it was disappointing there were no TVs in the bedrooms. While not great quality, this home was ultimately serviceable for our group trip. But, I would not recommend this home until this owner spends some time getting it to better quality generally, and especially for the price.
