This studio/condo is located on the first floor of the beautiful Waiakea Villas in Hilo, with on-site 24/7 security.

One queen-sized bed and a
futon sofa bed that can be converted to a twin bed.

Essential kitchenware, including a pot, pan, rice cooker, electric cooktop, stove, microwave, and refrigerator. A coffee maker and toaster are also provided.

There is an outdoor dining table for three on the balcony.

A new 50-inch smart TV, and desk workspace. Enjoy high-speed free Wi-Fi (300 Mbps).

An additional towel fan is provided. ( No AC)

Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
Please clean up the dishes and throw away the trash. The dumpsters are located in the corner of the parking lot. Turn off the lights and fans.
Return the keys to the lockbox. Return the pool key to the tray next to the TV. There is a $100 fee for any lost key. Lock the glass sliding doors.
Please be sure to thoroughly check for all your belongings before checking out. If you discover that you have left something valuable behind, it is imperative that you contact me immediately.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

Our family of three stayed here for a few days while visiting Hilo. I was very impressed with how clean and nice-looking our rental unit was.The grounds were beautiful with ponds, jungle, and wildlife. My daughter enjoyed the ducks that walked around and even named them. I appreciated the laundry access in the building as well. All the directions given by the host were easy to understand and follow regarding rules and check-in/check-out. Overall we had a pleasant stay, and would 100% reccommend!

Nice place to relax

My 3 days here were very peaceful. I was visiting my mom and this gave me a place to relax after a day of dealing with her! Nice comfortable bed and the pool was great. I'll stay again if I can.

Hilo laid back vibes.

We really enjoyed our stay at Vivian’s condo. It was perfectly clean, in a quiet location, and free parking was also a big perk on Hawai’i. We enjoyed having the option to cook as well. There was silverware/pots/plates stocked in the kitchen. We had all we needed and really enjoyed our stay

The host, Vivian, was very welcoming and promptly responsive. The amenities are as stated. Her studio is clean and comfortable - with the pool right outside the back patio. Very nice! I failed to notice her place has no air conditioning, and it was hot during the days I was there. She has multiple fans available to use, but be advised. Also, condo living overall means you are sharing space with many others, so lots of activity all around. This is not necessarily a bad thing - just something to note.

Vivian's place was perfect for our 2 night stay. Follow her directions for finding the apartment building. Check-in was a breeze. The place was clean. There were 2 floor fans and a ceiling fan to keep us cool. A nice sized patio. Everything we needed in the kitchen. And it was spacious enough that the 2 of us didn't feel cramped. The neighborhood felt safe and we had no worries about that. Easy free parking right in front of the building. Lots of restaurants and coffee shops within 5-10 minutes. Great snorkeling nearby!

Vivian is the perfect host!

I loved my stay at this adorable, comfortable unit in Hilo. It's in a great location with a pool perfect for short laps or play time for the kids. Vivian is a spot-on communicator. I had all the details I needed to check in and out easily. As a bonus, I had a great view of the 4th fireworks from the parking lot. Also, everyone in the complex was super nice.

Vivian was an excellent host. We came to Hawaii to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. It was the perfect place to stay . The apartment was close to many attractions I have food allergies and it was close to Island Naturals Market so I could eat vegan and organic. The kitchen had basic cooking essentials. We did get lost a couple of time but the people on the Big Island are so kind and helpful. We had a fun vacation. Thank you Vivian for a wonderful stay.😊♥️

Great little place, perfect location near Hilo.

Owner gave detail info finding the place and getting into the property. The studio had a comfortable bed with a large TV. Nice kitchen in the room and is stocked with enough items needed. There is a litle outlite room with a table for computer work also as you enter the bathroom. There is a little table on the porch, nice to sit outside. Large double slidibg doors with screens for fresh air. Owner had a book with great info for restaurants and activities. There is a larger pool. The complex is very quiet with lush plants and trees all around. We loved staying here, close to Hilo and 35 mins to Volcano National Park and 2 hours to Kona. Would higly recomend staying here. Shower good.

Lovely

Great value, comfortable cozy clean room with nice furniture. It did get a little warm/humid at times for me even with the portable cooling unit running, but that didn't bother my wife. My level of comfort is usually too cold for her. Pool was very nice, very close, and very useful for when I needed to cool off a bit. The area outside of the room/building felt a little sketchy when we first arrived, but there was nothing to be worried about. Anyone we ran into was very kind and friendly. Follow her instructions on how to find the correct building. Google maps sends you to the wrong side of the block. Overall a lovely stay without complaints.

Hello to Hilo

Beautiful property and awesome pool. The pool wasn’t open the first day and it was the last two days and we were so happy about it. For a condo type pool it was extra big. It was also warm. The property owner provided beach towels which were appreciated. I was hot the first night as there is no A/C. I contacted the host and she let me know the trick to leave the doors open, while locked. That was super helpful as the next night I slept well in a good temperature. There are cats, ducks and chickens on the grounds. This place is conveniently located close to Ola’s and an excellent ramen place. It is also decently close to Kula shaved ice and other fun places to visit in Hilo. Would definitely recommend and also would love to make a return stay. Would love more places to hang towels.

Cozy unit with a good location. 40 minutes from volcano national park. Close to downtown Hilo. Be sure to try Hawaiian Style Cafe around the corner and Pineapples. Ohana Ranch is a great place for quad rides & some Hawaiian history. Vivian was a great host. Always available to answer any questions.

Vivian was a super responsive and helpful host and the location of the condo was perfect. It has walking/running access to a great trail that goes around the pond and bridges to the oceanfront. Great restaurants (Manono center!) and grocery stores all close. We had 3 adults and felt right at home. Kitchen had everything we needed. Onsite laundry was a big plus. The lanai was perfect. We miss the cats and chickens already.
