Everything was excellent. House was clean and had all the amenities required. So close to the slopes and the hot tub was awesome after a long day on the mountain!! Highly recommend this house and Chad the owner was exceptional to work with.
Wonderful home and ideal location to downtown Ludlow. Plenty of space for 14 adults. Well equipped kitchen. Comfortable beds. Loved indoor fireplace, outdoor hot tub and fire pit on cooler evenings. Great, responsive host as well. Look forward to future stays!
Chad’s home was perfect for our family weekend! Very comfortable and amazing proximity to the mountain and down town. Chad was very responsive all weekend long.
We had such a great time at this property. Home was very spacious, clean, and comfortable. We felt so at home here that we would definitely book again.
Lots of space for kids and family to spread out. Well stocked kitchen and comfortable beds. We enjoyed the hot tub after a day on the slopes. Owner was easy to work with. We would book again.
Great home, pictures are accurate, lots of room for a larger group or family. House was very well kept and perfect for games, meals and memories! Definitely recommend! Jim M
House was perfect for 3 families and exactly as described. Short walk to the sachem trail and quick drive to supermarket/restaurants/etc. Chad was extremely responsive and a great host. Would definitely stay here again!
Had a great time! Plenty of space for everyone to sleep and hangout. Not quite walk on skiing for most of our group as it was 1/4 mile with incline but quick drop off. Owner was responsive and pleasant.
A good place, great hot tub and outdoor fire pit. Good sleeping arrangements. Walking to the ski slope is 0.33 miles and uphill to get there, it is doable.
Great rental for a friends ski weekend over the holidays. Home was great for multiple ages. Well stocked kitchen, games for multiple ages, great hot tub for after skiing. Quick drop off at the Okemo clock tower. GREAT communication and preparation with owner. Highly recommend and would book again.
This worked well for our 3 family group. Kid highlights were: hot tub, bunk beds, and the cool spiral staircase. Accommodations were very comfortable. For our group, Not walkable to the ski trails with young kids.
The house was very comfortable for so many people. Plenty of room to spread out without being on top of everyone. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans utensils etc. - nothing missing.
Owner was easy to work with. House was well equipped and we had a wonderful stay. Our adult children enjoyed having the downstairs space as their own but there was room so they could join us upstairs when they wished. It’s close to Sachem Trail but would be tough to carry equipment uphill to get there so we just had someone shuttle us back and forth. Kids walked back without issue.
I think it speaks for itself if I came twice. It’s better than the pictures. Lots of space. Hot tub is such a bonus. Perfect gathering place and you can walk to the slopes with a little effort. Chad is easy to communicate with and will try and accommodate. I recommend!
This is an annual tradition for our family. There are 11 of us and this home was a great size. There are two living rooms and a kitchen table large enough for all of us to have dinner together. The fireplace is wonderful and the sleeping arrangements worked out great. The hot tub is so nice after a long day of skiing. The fact that we were able to walk up the street directly onto the ski trail was such a highlight. It's so nice that everyone can get on and off of the mountain at their own pace. We will be back. xoxo
We really loved our stay! The home is very nicely appointed and comfortable even for larger parties (we were 10). We loved the jacuzzi and fire pit amenities. Many cozy evenings were spent around the fireplace and sitting around the large dining room table. Our host was very responsive and gracious in ensuring we had a great stay and that the home was in excellent condition for our visit, and he did a great job directing us to fun activities stores, ski rentals, and various restaurants in town (highly recommend Off the Rails for great pizza - great vibe and delicious food) and to the nearby town of Woodstock. The bedrooms were all very comfortable. Highly recommend this home for a stay for family and friends.
Great weekend! Don't be deceived by your first impression when pulling in. This home is huge ! The setting is private and quiet. Two family rooms provide space for younger ones. Large dining room table is great for meals and games. Kitchen is well equipped. Usable outdoor space is small but a large patio is located next to the woods and has a large hot tub, table that seats 6 , firepit, and a gas grill. This is where we spent our evenings.
Nice property for large group. Really appreciated the multiple family rooms.
Good communication and response to our questions and concerns.
Walking to trail was difficult with the spring conditions and the up hill trek. Driving to skier drop off was just a few minutes and we had a non-skier who was willing to do this.
Dirt road was muddy and potholes were large. Recommend a higher profile vehicle in mud season.
Recommend this property.
Friends and I spent our days exploring the area and relaxing in the hot tub at night. We didn’t reach out to the property owner because we didn’t need to, the place was pretty much perfect. We even did a murder mystery party one night (which the second, hidden set of stairs was perfect for). Very minor item but I would suggest bringing towels as while there were enough for everyone to shower we ended needing extras for the hot tub. I strongly suggest taking advantage of the falls nearby and to throw some beer in the downstairs fridge for easy access to the hot tub. 100% planning on staying here again next fall.

The backyard space was awesome!
The backyard patio with hot tub and fire pit were perfect for us. There was plenty of privacy and we spent most of the weekend outside. The first floor was nicely laid out as was the downstairs with an extra bar and table area plus family room. The only problem we had were the spiral stairs leading up and down as well as the brick stairs behind the fireplace. The kids had a great time using them, but they were challenging for a couple of the older members of our party. There were other stairs besides the spiral ones to get to the lower level but your only option to the 2nd floor were the brick stairs or the spiral stairs. As long as you are not putting any elderly member of your party upstairs, or young children, then you should be fine.

Hi Erika, thanks for your review and we're glad to hear that you had a nice time. Good news! We rebuilt the brick stairs so they are much safer now and can easily be used by children...check out the pictures. We hope to welcome you back again sometime.
About the host

We purchased this home as a vacation home for us and we take great pride in it and in providing a quality experience for our guests. We have prioritized comfort and relaxation in the home, and strive to provide all of the amenities you would want in a mountain getaway.
Why they chose this property
Other than the spaciousness of the home, we chose this property for it's walk to trail location at Okemo, as well as the Village of Ludlow itself. If walking to the trail isn't for everyone, the lodge is less than 2 minutes from the house (half mile drive). Being within a mile drive to a grocery store, several restaurants, shops, post office, bakery, liquor store and emergency services provides fun, convenience, and peace of mind. There are few New England resorts that are truly 4 season, and are within a few hours drive of so many major cities. With family in Boston, Connecticut, and New York, Okemo made perfect sense to us.
What makes this property unique
Ideal spot on Okemo Mountain, with rare privacy for the location offering a 1+ acre lot next to an open meadow with a stream and woods bordering the property.
