Welcome to the Captain`s Quarters Lake House, where breathtaking lake views and unparalleled charm await you on the stunning Chain O’ Lakes in Fox Lake! This unique 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom retreat is designed to offer you the ultimate lake house experience. As you step inside, you`ll be greeted by a cozy yet spacious interior adorned with nautical decor, evoking the ambiance of a true captain`s hideaway.

For those who love to entertain, the 3-Seasons room and full bonus bar is sure to be a highlight of your stay. Enjoy a 3-4 person hot tub open year round, fooseball, and a card table.

Guests will enter the home on the main level that is the main living quarters with full kitchen, living room, full bathroom, and and both bedrooms. The master bedroom has a king bed with full lakeview out of the glass door to enjoy. The second bedroom has a queen bed.

The downstairs has the second full luxury bathroom and entertainment area with custom bar area and three seasons room. Enjoy a 3-4 person hot tub open year round, fooseball, and a card table.

The outside upper deck and lower patio are fully equipped with lawn furniture and outdoor seating to enjoy the lake. There is an amazing lake pad to lounge and enjoy the lake.

With 15 connected lakes and 45 miles of rivers, there’s always a new place to explore — whether you’re out on a boat, paddling a kayak, or enjoying the view from a lakeside restaurant.

Fox Lake is located in Lake County, IL, a vibrant county nestled along 25 miles of shorline of Lake Michigan on its eastern border and the state of Wisconsin along its northern border. Lake County offers a sanctuary for nature enthusiasts, with nearly 31,000 acres to explore in 65 different forests preserves. There are 170 lakes in the County in whole, thus the name `Lake County`. The home rental you do not want to leave!

My husband, daughter and I stayed at this home for 5 days, 4 nights. This is such a lovely home! It is well stocked with kitchen accessories, nice absorbant bath towels, and even extra stock of toilet paper. I can not say that's the case for homes I've rented before! The beds are very comfortable, as well. We BBQ'd all our dinners, and that was easy with the great gas grill. We ate our meals on the upper deck, enjoying the beautiful view! Our main reason for this trip, and why this house was perfect, was to fish! We caught Bluegill, Catfish and Largemouth bass- and all returned into the water! With three fishing poles, having the space to cast and not getting wires crossed, was so great! I can not recommend this house enough. Comfortable, well stocked, and the views... it's a home away from home that you will not want to leave! Id love return next summer!

Nice property & amenities, but…

Gorgeous property, beautifully appointed, great amenities (kitchen, utensils, etc). Bonus room was amazing! Loved the downstairs shower! Five star experience…EXCEPT, the smoke/fire alarm in the kitchen kept going off!! Scared the shxx out of us in the morning when using the toaster… opening the front door and waving it open and closed cleared it up quickly. But it also went off when we were boiling potatoes, cooking dinner and breakfast - even when the overhead stove hood was on high. Recommended to property manager to either move the location of that sensor or disable it. Otherwise, this property is pretty amazing and would be fantastic in the summer. We would definitely stay here again as long as they fix that alarm!
