The cabin itself was nice. The amenities the resort offers are wonderful. But the cabins are right on top of each other. Upon arrival our door was left wide open- I contacted the owner and they stated the pool cleaners had been there. I was traveling with my children by myself. I did not like that at all! I went through the whole property double checking to make sure nothing was disturbed or that no one was in the cabin. The second night there, the cabin beside us decided to have a party and blast music at 1am. The resort itself does not have security patrolling the area. We had to call the local police. While this is not the owners fault- I do feel other guests need to know how close the other cabins are in proximity to each other. The owners did communicate well when reaching out. The other thing I did not like- check out is at 10am( that’s fine). I began loading up our vehicle a little before 9am. Getting trash and loading up everyone. The cleaner for the property sat outside in their car from before 9am until we left watching us. I understand they need to get the property ready for the next guest. But they should not do that. It caused us to feel rushed and then worried we could’ve left something behind. We leave a property in better condition than we find it. These are minor things but I do want other renters to be made aware. The property itself is nice and the owners do provide good communication.

Great Potential!

Pros- Great view of the mountains, nice new house, great communication with host. Easy to get to and very convenient to Dollywood and Pigeon Forge. Great house for 8-10ppl. Den area seats 8 ppl with plenty of dining seats for 20+. Cons- These houses (cabins) are basically on top of each other. Major construction in neighborhood. Noise begins at 7am sharp with large equipment including dump trucks, cranes, lots of noise til after 5pm and tons of dust. The dust was everywhere. 2 days of our trip had big delays trying to leave while road was blocked with trucks and equipment. New house, no insulation between walls so you hear everything between floors. Like most rentals that are new, cheaply built but hey, it’s a rental. Nice kitchen but only 1 frig so stocking it for 15people would be difficult bc there’s no pantry or upper cabinets. 1 towel and 1 washcloth per guest for the entire stay. Lots of stink bugs in the house, probably from the deforestation that’s happened. Bedrooms have no blankets, only a sheet and comforter but the sheets are great quality and comfortable! The housekeeping was ok but lots of dusting that had been missed - maybe due to all the construction. Other good features- Indoor pool is nice Hot tub nice They did provide some pool towels so we didn’t have to use bath towels. Once the area is finished it’ll have a water park area as well. Maybe in 2025!
