Pickerel Lake Newaygo Waterfront Cottage

Quiet waterfront cottage on a canal leading to Pickerel Lake. Open year round and sleeps up to 8 with a nice bunk bedroom that includes ping pong and other games. Waterfront deck with propane gas grill, table and seating area is perfect for the family who loves the outdoors. Comes with your own small boat/kayak launch on a quiet channel that goes directly out to four beautiful, inter-connected lakes. There are 2 adult kayaks, 1 child kayak and 2 paddle boards for your private use during your stay. There is also a wood fired hot tub that can be used as a cold plunge tub(during warmer months) for the more adventurous types.

Please note there is a max of 2 dogs allowed with a pet fee per dog. ONLY DOGS ALLOWED, NO OTHER PETS, OF ANY KIND ALLOWED.

Respite on the Lake

We had an amazing time at this little house on the lake. It easily held our family of 7, plus our sweet golden retriever. We all had so much fun kayaking around the lakes (pup included), lounging in the yard and relaxing in the house.

We had all the comforts of home, with water access. The lake was beautiful, we really enjoyed getting out on the provided water boards, and kayaks. We got to see the swans 3 mini swans parade by in the morning.

We enjoyed our stay. It was located across the street from family so location was great. Canal not great but used the lake. Should clean up weeds and exterior of house. Shower could use mold and mildew cleaner around bottom.

Was what we were looking for

House was clean, ready for us. Driveway is kind of annoying but the house was as advertised and what we needed. Owner communicated and made sure we were set.

This waterfront property is on a quiet channel with access to 4 interconnect lakes for all your adventures. Kayaks and paddleboards are included in your stay. So, no need to haul them from home to enjoy the water. Our wood fired hot tub can be used as a cold plunge tub for a more stimulating experience. There is a small private boat launch on the property if you decide to bring a small boat. Lots of room on the deck to grill, eat, and hang out. Ping pong table in the bunk bedroom for indoor fun. Come enjoy the beautiful views!
