Why Peter chose Santa Fe
Love Santa Fe and Santa Fe Opera. A bucket list item for me has been to go to the same opera many times to absorb the voices, music and magic. I am living that dream now. Life is good. Love the vistas and quiet of this second home in Tesuque. I fell in love with Casa Vista de Cochiti at the moment I walked through the portal into the patio. I was in the luxury, resort hotel business for many years and have furnished our home away home to these standards! I want the world to experience the enchantment of Pueblo Encantado and am thrilled you are considering our corner of the world. Stop. Breathe. Look around. Relax. Enjoy.

Perfect Santa Fe Get Away!
We were fortunate to take advantage of this lovely property in the hills above Santa Fe. The house was beautiful, well decorated, and in a great location. The owner was very helpful and informative about opportunities in the area. We made quick trips to Taos, Albique, and of course into Santa Fe. We took advantage of the plentiful supply of Pinion wood for the Kiva and hiked the hills around the house to see the breathtaking views.
First, Peter was one of the best hosts we've had on a VRBO stay. Very informative, communicative, and responsive. The house was just lovely and the surrounds...enchanting! Very close to Santa Fe, yet the views are stunning. Highly recommended on all counts!
So glad you enjoyed your stay at our special, Enchanted corner of the world. We love being there. Pueblo Encantado is unique location and the quiet is noticeably calming. We want all of our guests to enjoy the quiet, views and calm that is Tesuque.
My husband and I spent 6 wonderful days in this beautiful home away from home. The home is exactly as described and the views are exquisite! There is everything you need (and more), to enjoy a truly enchanting experience in Sante Fe. We enjoyed watching the hummingbirds feeding, while also experiencing starlit nights and stunning sunrises from the perfect and beautiful patio. I would highly recommend this home to anyone wishing to experience Sante Fe at it’s best. Peter, the owner is a most accommodating host and has obviously given the utmost thought to making sure his guests are comfortable. We will definitely be returning to this property again!
We feel that same enchantment every time we are at our home away from home. So glad you fell in love with our Casa Vista de Cochiti. We never get there often enough.
Beautiful rental with awesome host!
Fantastic stay overall. Great accommodations & host. Check in was delayed until 6:30 pm due to cleaners delay but Peter arranged a generous gift card at a nearby restaurant to compensate.
So happy we found this ideal place to stay during our recent trip to Santa Fe. This is an immaculately clean, well-cared for space that has everything one could need for preparing a meal, planning the next day’s adventure or just relaxing at home. We loved using the outdoor space just as much as we loved using the indoor space (or maybe vice versa). As others have said, this home is situated in a locale that affords lots of privacy but very near hiking trails, yummy restaurants and within a short drive to Santa Fe.
We found Peter to be a great communicator and attentive host, who was extremely nice when we had the occasion to talk to him live.
We absolutely loved our stay at Casa Vista de Cochiti and hope to return in the near future.
We were very comfortable at this lovely property. Just a short trip over the highway to family that we were visiting, & equally easy drive to the plaza or up north. Peter gave us great instructions on the house workings & kept in touch if any questions came up. The home is spotless, beautifully decorated and stocked with everything you might need. Didn’t cook much but the kitchen is well setup & the outdoor bbq setup looks like fun. Would definitely come back again to wake up to the mountain view!
Santa Fe is the oldest capital in the United States, established in 1610, with world class restaurants, second largest art market in the U.S. (Canyon Road is 20 minutes). The world famous Santa Fe Opera is four miles from Casa Vista de Cochiti. Nearby attractions include cliff dwellings, Native American Pueblos, Taos, Los Alamos, winter skiing at Santa Fe Ski Basin and at Taos. The sky, the clouds, the clarity of air. These are some of reasons Santa Fe and New Mexico are called the Land of Enchantment.
