Charming 2-bedroom apartment in vibrant Zürich with WiFi

Stay comfortably in Zürich at this brilliant 2-bedroom apartment. With 2 full beds and 2 twin bed, this phenomenal space is perfect for a small group of guests. Enjoy the convenience of amenities like heating, WiFi, and a washing machine. The bathroom features a shower and a hair dryer for your comfort. We hope you enjoy what our place and Zürich have to offer.

A two bedroom apartment with natural daylight at all times of the day. It can host up to 6 people and is fully equipped with everything you need for your stay at Zürich.

The apartment does have an unfortunate detail : the bathroom is rather unconventional as it was built in a way that no common person would think. If you look at the picture, you will see that you need to pass the sink and the toilet in order to enter the shower. Strange yes, but definitely original :-) We always keep it clean but bear in mind it is very small. We are truly sorry for this, we believe the architect might not have been a bathroom person as it is narrow and just made to do your toiletries and nothing more; but the rest of the apartment makes up for it!

The building itself is located on the corner of two streets and thus has a continual access to daylight - a warm feeling that makes you feel at Home! It is centrally located in a residential area served with direct connections to the main city hotspots. Located 15 min away from the main station and the lake, and served by regular bus, tram and train connections, our Casa invites you to enjoy a stroll in the nearby parks, the shopping center “Sihlcity”, the lake & the city center.

We should mention beforehand that the windows are slightly old and therefore as we are located in the city, noises can reach the apartment. There is a restaurant located downstairs (we are on the second floor) but it usually isn't loud. It’s nothing major but if you are a light sleeper, we might recommend you to either use the complimentary ear plugs or simply re-consider booking with us. Please do not think it is extremely loud now, but we prefer to mention this beforehand.

We have a very flexible check-in procedure. Our standard check-in time is at 16.00 on the arrival day. In case you can’t make it so early for the key handover, we provide you with the option to check-in using a safebox at the entrance of the building so that you can check-in whenever you arrive on that day.

Check-out time is at 11.00 on the departure day.

We should also mention that there is no elevator in the house. Since the apartment is on the second floor, you’ll have to walk up to reach it. The stairs aren't steep but we prefer you to be aware of this beforehand :)

Parking : This is a residential area. There are two types of parking surrounding the house : “White Zone” parking is to be paid for by the hour, “Blue Zone” parking is for free provided you set a blue parking sign on the dashboard of the car for an hour. Alternatively you can buy a daily parking sign from the local Police that allows you to park everywhere in the city of Zürich for one day, and costs CHF 15 / day, search for tagesbewilligung-blaupark

The place is very clean and our host had been helpful to throughout the process for communications. The area is located in a quiet place, although it stated it is above a restaurant (excellent Eritrean place by the way), the noise was hardly a bother. It is about 7-8 minute walk to transit stops. The only thing to note is definitely the stairs, there are 3 flights since the first floor isn’t really counted as floor 1. So the place would be as advertised, not suitable for people with mobility issues. We had a good time and would consider staying over again.

We had a nice stay in this Apartment during our stay in Zürich. It is really good located and clean. Just the one sleeping room had unfortunately no curtains to darken the room. Everything was Fine.

We had a great time in Zurich at this property! Nice little neighborhood and spacious clean apartment. Easily accessible to other parts of the city as well. It was great to have a large dining room table to enjoy meals together:)

Black mold on all walls above shower, and shower window caused several of our group uncomfortable allergic reactions. Ended up keeping windows cracked in winter to get through the trip.Other residents leave front door open all times of day, causing security risk. The last two days there were large racks of towels partially blocking doorway. Only 1 key, when asked for 2nd one host said to use lockbox. Solution worked for us but wasn't ideal.Bathroom very small, hard to wash face because cabinet is directly up small sink in tight corridor sized room.In general apartment was rough around the edges. Buckling laminate floor had many large holes showing concrete underneath, entry door had apartment # scrawled in sharpie, stairway ceilings have signs of severe water damage.

Cute spacious and very safe apartment

I stayed here with me and my 4 other girl friends and we had the best time! The apartment was clean, spacious and had everything we needed. It is in a very safe part of town and we all thought it was very cute! Beware there is no elevator though and if you have large suitcases you have to carry them up 4 flights of stairs. But we didn't mind, it is to be expected in Europe! Check in and out was super easy and we had the best vacation ever!

Please not my overall rating is 3.5/5 stars but I cannot give half stars on VRBO. The apartment stay was not unpleasant, but I would rather book a different place to fit my personal preferences. What we liked:- Our host was very quick to respond to any questions or problems. We arrived to the apartment late at night, and Filipa was reachable when we had issues with the safebox. - The kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils and dishware. We had to buy cooking ingredients, but that was not a problem for us. - The apartment was very quiet. No noise complaints about the restaurant below but it was closed when we were there. - We were grateful to have a washer and drier as well. Please note that it is shared washer/dryer with the entire apartment building and on the basement floor. - Apartment got a lot of light during the day and was nice and warm. - 5-10 minute walk to the nearest bus stations and about 20 minutes from central Zurich HB by public transit. - Safe neighborhood with lots of restaurants in walking distance (keep in mind that grocery stores and most businesses are closed on Sunday which we did not realize when we arrived). Our personal issues: -Steep stairs which tired out my aging mother.-The building itself had signs of water damage which made us concerned for mold and building integrity. -Very narrow bathroom (which we were all aware of in advance) so a bit uncomfortable trying to maneuver around. -One of the bed frames were broken.
