The perfect home away from home to see our daughters last sailing regatta in college! Great location and wonderful place! Cute, quaint, homey…exceptional!
We came to Providence to visit family at RISD, place was exactly as expected, very clean, nice neighborhood, very comfortable stay. Owner was great at getting back to us when we had questions. Planning to stay again on our next visit!
Everything was very nice. The only thing that was a little uncomfortable were the heights of two beds in the one room were difficult to get in and out of. Suggest raising to a standard height. Once in the bed it was comfortable.
Really great property with almost everything we needed. Great location with lots of cool spots nearby. Nice neighborhood and very well maintained apartment. Would stay here again.
It is what a would call a budget stay. Bathroom linens could use replacement. Power strips did not work, limited TV options, but over all we were happy with the stay. Quiet and safe area, off street parking
Stayed for Spring break. The property is super cute but the downstairs neighbors are a little noisy. Comfy beds! We stayed for 6 days and it served the purpose!
We had a wonderful stay at this Providence rental! The property was very clean and easy to find, and it was such a unique experience staying in a property that’s up to 150 years old. Despite its age, it had all the amenities we needed to feel comfortable. The location was great too—there’s a local deli just down the street that was perfect for grabbing breakfast and coffee. The neighborhood was quiet, with respectful neighbors, which made our stay even more enjoyable.Communication with the host was prompt and informative, making everything smooth from start to finish. Check-out was a breeze as well.Overall, we had a great time and really appreciated the hospitality. Thank you!
The place was spacious and clean, and within walking distance of great restaurants and cafes. Farzanah answered all of our questions promptly and helpfully. Parking spot is on the right of the building (as you look at the building) and was very convenient!
The apartment was a diamond in the rough. Beautiful AND spacious. The bathroom was my favorite and they thought of everything in terms of kitchen necessities. I will return every chance i get
Clean, spacious, comfortable firm bed. Neighborhood was convenient. There was some kind of glitch with VRBO which was supposed to send us checkin info.Regardless, the property manager got back to us and told us what to do. The WIFI never did work. Manager said it was a ComCast disruption (for three days) but she did communicate with us about it.

Hi thank you Gary. We were able to resolve the WiFi issue shortly after you left - a power outage a few days ago had affected service and availability of technicians.
As for the check in information I apologise. I’ve been on the phone with VRBO as all check in details are in the guide which is available to guests 2 days prior to their check in date.
I look forward to hosting you again.
The apartment was quite nice, but after a six hour ride through lots of traffic and difficulty with the key lock box, I realized that there were full-time tenants above and below. About an hour or so after I arrived and got food, it was apparent there was a loud party going on upstairs. I called the owner, who responded quickly and contacted them. Two very nice young women came down with an apology and a bottle of wine. The party was a 25th birthday celebration for one of them. Though they said they'd turn down the music, I couldn't really tell any difference in the noise level, which continued until around 12:30 - 1am. I woke up the next day exhausted and dragged myself through my granddaughter's 10:30am graduation and celebratory dinner afterward. There are no bad guys here, but I wonder at the wisdom of placing a VRBO between two full-time tenants. They have a right to live their lives, and VRBO guests should be able to assume their accommodations allow for a decent night's sleep.
Born and raised in East London, UK with roots in Mauritius, I moved to RI for my bachelor degree. After falling in love with RI and its peace and quiet (and beautiful coastline) I made it my home. I currently travel a lot for work and rent my home to you in my absence. Please enjoy my home and space and I ask you to b kind and considerate of it.
Why they chose this property
I love the peace and quiet of the West Side - away from the hustle and bustle of Brown and located one block from Dexter Park. It's a short walk from some of my favourite coffee shops on Broadway. The neighbour is up and coming and has been seeing a shift over the last few years with more development and local businesses opening up. This unit is great if you want to see more to Providence than Brown/RISD/Downtown but want easy access to them.
What makes this property unique
It's my personal touch! I have collected all sorts of souvenirs from my travels abroad - from my Japanese singing bowl, to various ceramic pieces from Turkey, postcard from Vietnam or my antiques that I love to collect. As it is my home I ask that you respect the no shoes policy (shoes can be safely left on the front landing at the top of the stairs)
