PROPERTY DESCRIPTION: Ours is the most spacious floor plan at Hali’i Kai with 1677 square feet, 1930 square feet if include the two lanais. This is a two-story Townhome with the entrance on the second floor, no elevator.
You will enjoy our newly remodeled condo with One-Of-The-Kind Peru Travertine floor throughout the entire unit, Elegant-Beachy-Color scheme, and many new appliances. Our three bedrooms are well separated for privacy,1 downstairs and 2 upstairs, three bathrooms, an open concept great room with living room, dining area, kitchen and two covered lanais, one on each floor.
The gourmet kitchen is finished with tiled backsplash, granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and African mahogany cabinets. The kitchen opens up to the dining and living area, making the space ideal for cooking and conversing. There are 3 bar stools at the kitchen counter and a dining table that seats six. The outdoor lanai of the dining room has an additional table for four and a gas BBQ.
The great room is furnished with an extremely comfortable L-shaped couch, a large chair, TV and a Bose Bluetooth sound system.
The upstairs master boasts a king-sized bed and its own private lanai with two chaise lounges. The ensuite master bath has dual sinks, a large soaking tub and a glass enclosed shower. There are shutters over the bathtub that open into the bedroom which allows for the outside light to filter in while you soak the day away. The additional bedroom upstairs has 2 twin beds. The 3rd bedroom is located on the bottom floor and has a queen bed. Please note that the bottom floor of our townhouse is actually the second floor of a building with NO elevator.
We have our own spacious laundry room with washer and dryer, and just about everything that you often want in the comfort of your own home.
Our townhouse is in the Coconut Grove section of the community, near the tennis court, and the basketball half-court.
PARKING: 20G has ONE-car garage that can fit a compact car, where we store 4 bicycles and our beach gear; and one reserved parking space outside. There are also open visitor parking spaces within 50 yards of the front door.
HALI’I KAI DESCRIPTION: Built on 29 acres of securely gated manicured landscape, Hali’i Kai is a Premier condo communities in Waikoloa Beach Resort and is the only one that is truly oceanfront. The list of amenities is long, but Hali’i Kai is probably best known for its private Ocean Club Pavilion. Come and see the children’s wading pool, dig your feet in the sand-bottom Jacuzzi, relax in the multi-level lagoon-style black-bottom pool, enjoy the poolside meals, snacks, and cocktails served by the Ocean Club Grill & Bar, a restaurant that is exclusive to the residents and guests of Hali’i Kai. Work out in the oceanfront clifftop fitness cabana while enjoying the island breeze and the spectacular view of the Pacific Ocean.
From this Ocean Club, you can observe dolphins frolicking year-round, and humpback whales splashing up close offshore during the months of December through April (sometimes as early as October and November.) On this same clifftop, the sunset view is sublime and the sound of waves crashing against the lava rock is intoxicatingly soothing.
DESCRIPTION OF WAIKOLOA BEACH RESORT: Waikoloa Beach Resort is world-famous and it offers just about everything that you would need to make your vacation extraordinary. There are two fabulous golf courses. The Hilton and Marriott are both within the resort and each has many things to offer.
There is no shortage of spas or restaurants, fine-dining or casual. The Queen’s Marketplace and King’s shop offer the two largest shopping, dining, and entertainment experiences on the Kohala coast. At the Queen’s Marketplace, you can find all your groceries and beverages. They even have a gourmet market where you can find meals that are ready-made. Behind the Marriott, you’ll find the Lava Lava Beach Club and Anaehoomalu Bay (better known as A-Bay), a beautiful crescent shaped public beach that offers many ocean sports for the whole family.
Within a few minutes' drive, you can enjoy the world-famous beaches such as Hapuna and Mauna Kea, or the less known and more secluded 69 Beach, a favorite of the local. The list of things to do is endless.
NO SMOKING policy: Our villa and Hali'i Kai community are strictly NON-SMOKING properties.
SECURITY CAMERA: For the security of our home and community, a video doorbell is installed at the front door. Access to recorded footage will be limited to the property manager and only used for security purposes, such as investigating incidents or potential criminal activity. No devices inside the condo.
TRAVEL INSURANCE is highly recommended, NO REFUND will be given for reasons outside of our control.
FEES YOU WILL PAY SEPARATELY - NOT OUR FEES: 1. HALI'I KAI RESORT FEE: $25 per day, per condo, NOT per guest. RESORT FEE is NOT included in our nightly rate because it is NOT our charge. You will pay to Hali'i Kai Resort office directly and the fee amount is SUBJECT TO CHANGE without notice.
2. VRBO/HomeAway "TRAVELER SERVICE FEE": Pay at booking, please REFER TO ONLINE QUOTE for the amount. Again, this fee is NOT included in our Rental Agreement because it is NOT our charge. This charge is imposed by VRBO/HomeAway on all renters who use their website.
OTHER FEES: (subject to change without notice) 1. INTERIM CLEANING FEES: $275.00 each, required every 7 nights for 15 nights or longer stay. 2. DAILY CLEANING: Cleaner's hourly fee, must schedule in advance. 3. EARLY CHECK IN / LATE CHECK OUT: $200.00 each for reservations of 7 nights or longer. One night fee for reservations less than 7 nights. 4. ADDITIONAL GUEST FEE: $20/per guest/ per night, after 6 guests. Maximum 7 guests. Pre-approval required.
BOOKING PROCEDURE: To finalize any reservation, we require (1) payment, (2) copy of your fully executed RENTAL AGREEMENT including credit card authorization and (3) a copy of your GOVERNMENT-ISSUED PHOTO ID.
HOW TO BOOK: 1. "Request to book": VRBO allows 24 hours for owners to approve and accept your request. We will send you the rental agreement prepared specifically for your dates, we will try to approve your request within the 24-hour required window and your credit card will be charged. The final confirmation of your booking is still pending on the return of your required documents.
2. "Contact host": If you have more questions or need more time to review and return the rental agreement, please send us an inquiry, we will answer your questions and send you a rental agreement specifically prepared for your dates. You will have more time to return the documents and make the payment. Rental rates and fees are subject to change.

Extra fees may apply to compensate for deep cleaning and/or deodorizing caused by smoking or pets, plus loss of rent income if any. 4. Re-arranging the furniture is NOT permitted. We strongly urge that our guests NOT MOVING beds or furniture around. More importantly, we don't want our guests to get hurt in the process. 5. As a courtesy for our guests, please return beach gear and bikes to garage, rinse free of sand.
CANCELLATION / RESCHEDULE POLICY:
We do not charge a credit card processing fee to book our condo, and we hope you will not need to cancel your reservations. However, if you must cancel, the merchant may charge again for processing the refunds. Therefore, the CREDIT CARD PROCESSING FEE IS NON-REFUNDABLE.
Payment schedule: 50% due at booking and 50% due 90 days prior to arrival date.
For reservations less than 28 nights: Cancellation at least 60 days prior to arrival date: We will refund the PAID amount, LESS credit card fee.
Cancellation at least 30 days prior to arrival date: We will refund 50% of the FULL RESERVATION amount, LESS credit card fee. NO refund if the reservation is not paid for in full.
Cancellation LESS than 30 days: NO refund, NO credit.

Perfect home for 5 of us over the Christmas holiday. Very clean - with a well stocked kitchen. We enjoyed the restaurant/bar at the pool area. Loved the quiet location.
Fabulous- one of the best VRBOs we have stayed in. Lots of room, kitchen wonderfully stocked, beach and outdoor equipment great. Wonderful communication- owners are thoughtful and great to work with! Highly recommend and if we are on the island in the future would want to return and stay here! Thank you!!
Overall, we could not have asked for a better place to stay. The property is incredible and our property manager was excellent. Amenities are really nice and location was exactly where we wanted it.

Nicely decorated and well equipped condo. We had very hot weather and AC was OK. Lighting in twin bed bedroom was insufficient. Tile floors throughout with only carpet being under the dining table provided no space for daily floor exercises.
Our family of four had a fantastic week on the Big Island staying in this condo. The unit is a perfect place to relax and had all the amenities we could have hoped for. The grounds and pool area are also very nice and we definitely enjoyed returning there nightly after a day of adventures.

We immensely enjoyed our stay and thought the location was perfect. It is close to some shops and numerous beaches - but also is quiet and private. The pool is great and the food at the pool was really good. The property was exactly what we hoped it would be and we appreciated all of the items in the garage; boogie boards, basketball, snorkeling gear, etc. Highly recommend!
This is our 2nd time staying at 20G. Love this property and the attention property owners pay to making sure guests have all they need to enjoy their vacation. Easily one of the best vacation rentals we’ve stayed in. Looking forward to coming back again.

Beautiful condo walking distance to beach, restaurants, shipping, golf courses. All beds were extremely comfortable. The kitchen had amazing appliances. I highly recommend this property for your stay in Waikoloa!!

We had a great time in Hali'i Kai 20G in January! Well-stocked kitchen and beach accessories were greatly appreciated. The Ocean Club is a great place to hang out, work out, (watch whales in the winter months) when you are not out enjoying the beaches and everything else Hawaii has to offer. We live and work in Silicon Valley. While we appreciate and love our home in California, we find it busy and fast. The Big Island is our favorite place for peace and relaxation.
Why they chose this property
We were at the Hali'i Kai's private Ocean Club Pavilion one January evening when the red sun sank quietly into the Pacific Ocean behind the swaying palms. The agitated waves crashed violently against the lava rock coastline. Breezes touched our faces, and the ocean air filled our lungs. The combination of sight and sound and smell gave us this feeling of awe that lingered in our minds. It is hard to describe how such feeling keeps us energized and yet at peace at the same time. Just the thought of returning to Hali'i Kai clears our minds and lifts our hearts.
While searching for a home in Waikoloa Beach Resort, we tumbled into KOLEA 16F and it was "Love at First Sight"! Kolea 16F was our first "Home-Away-From-Home" on the Big Island and six months later, we could not resist adding HALI'I KAI 20G to our "Home-sweet-homes". We named our HALI'I KAI 20G "Wish.We.Were.Here", but we could have easily called KOLEA 16F "AlwaysOnMyMind…."
We love it here and we want you to enjoy it as much as we do!
