Island Sol offers 1200 sq feet of brand new beach themed furniture with a fresh modern twist. This bright happy open floor plan is perfect for everyone to gather in the Kitchen/dining/living area or put your feet up in the back yard on the Key West hammock or by the soaker pool to read your favorite book.
The living room offers a bar, a flat screen HDTV and WiFi. Enjoy the newly renovated office space for work or pleasure.

2 bedrooms, 2 bath home with office space.
Master Bedroom has a king size bed, flat screen TV and private bathroom with a walk-in shower and a walk in closet. The guest bedroom is light and airy with a Queen size bed and flat screen TV. The guest bathroom offers a walk in shower with glass enclosed shower door, towels and linens provided. Laundry closet includes a full size washer and dryer.
The Kitchen is fully stocked with brand new first class appliances, cookware and utensils. This includes a full set of dishes to enjoy a meal at the dining table or take the non-glass dishware out to the pool and lanai to have a relaxing dining experience outdoors. The covered lanai encloses a porch off the master bedroom looking out to the newly designed Aquatic themed soaker pool, tropical flowers and palm trees. There are outdoor cameras on premises.
You can relax in the private backyard sitting area on the cozy Adirondack chairs or swing on the hammock to enjoy the beautiful gardens. The owner provides a gas grill, beach towels and beach equipment for your convenience.
Location is perfect, just steps away from the gulf of America where you can start your day off with breathtaking sunrises, walk to popular restaurants, bike rentals, and the golf courses. Enjoy over 32 miles of paved bike paths. The east end of the island provides easy on and off access to the causeway and Fort Myers.

This property is amazing. It is absolutely the best rental we have ever reserved. The location is perfect, the house is beautiful, and pool is just right. There is no detail that is missing. We are so thankful that the owners rebuilt after Ian and kept the originality with making every detail even more stunning. Found some great shells also.

Beautiful house. Nice location. I would recommend. However, although heated pool was included per listing, pool was not heated upon arrival. Maintenance had to come out 3 times during the week to re-start the pool heater. Finally, maintenance showed me how to turn it on. It switched off every night, which meant we could never use the pool in the morning. Also, directions/user ID for tv and remotes would have been helpful.

Mickie, Thank you for your review. We will add the instructions to the guestbook of how to turn the heater on. We do not preheat the pool before the guests get in. Unfortunately, there were a few power outages that week on Sanibel that caused the timer of the pool to be off by several hours. The heater runs for eight hours and works with the pool filter timer. It was an unfortunate misunderstanding

Wow! This house exceeded our expectations and was even better than the photos. It is well laid out, with beautiful and thoughtful decorating. The kitchen has all manner of utentils, is large and energetic with its vibrant wall coloring, and touches of that color are repeated everywhere. A tea kettle would be appreciated. Unlike the usual rental house with mostly bare walls, there is tasteful art in abundance and the beach theme is predominant. Nice pool area off master bedroom. Pillows and bedspreads are gorgeous. In keeping with the rest of the high quality furnishings, an investment in nicer sheets would be welcome and brigher LED light bulbs in lamps would brighten things at night. But overall, one of the best houses we have rented, and that includes properties around the world. We truly enjoyed staying here!

Perfect Vacation

We stayed in this beautiful house with our Best friends from Alabama. We felt like we were home, from the bright decor to everything you might need in the kitchen to cook some meals at home. The pool was a plus on those hot summer days and nights. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone. We are looking forward to coming back again.

Another great stay

We recently returned from a two week stay at Island Sanibel Sol. This was our second time renting this house. It is phenomenal. It is approximately 500 steps to the beach access. The backyard is private and extremely beautiful. The owners have provided everything needed for eating in as well beach chairs, carts, umbrellas, toys for the pool, etc. It is easily our most famous place to rent...anywhere. Thank you Guido for allowing us to rent again. We would like to stay again in the future. It is PERFECT.

Awesome place for a family beach vacation!!

The house was just as beautiful as it looked in the pictures! The private pool was great and we used it every single day for a week. The beach was a close enough walk away that even our teenager didn't complain about the walk. Even though there was a motel right next door that always had people around, the entire property felt like our own private tropical island because of the amazing lush landscaping that created a great sense of privacy. Everything in the house was clean and in good working order. The shed full of beach gear was well organized and full of all of the beach gear we needed for the week.... We didn't have to buy anything! It's the best set of equipment I've ever seen in a VRBO unit and it was so well organized that we didn't have to dig through a huge pile of junk to find what we needed. This is clearly a well-loved and well-maintained house. We almost never stay in the same place twice because we like seeing different towns and different parts of the towns we do return to, but it would be tough to pass this place up the next time we go to Sanibel! I never needed to call the owner for any repairs or other issues with the property, but the one time I did try to call (to see about extending our stay) the call went to voicemail and I got a message saying that the mailbox was full and couldn't accept any messages. That was on a Sunday morning though, so I don't see any major problem with it. I'm sure we could have reached someone through the emergency contact info if it had been urgent, but it wasn't.

Excellent for the price point

The house was absolutely beautiful and the beach themed decorations were a cute touch. Having the covered private pool was nice when we were tired of the beach. It was a short walk to the beach but you can cut through the beach resort to get to a nice section of the beach. The only down side was the dishes and utensils at the house weren’t the nicest and we had to clean them before we could use. The grill was pretty disgusting but apart from that. I would rate the house a 4/5 stars.

We loved our stay here! This was our first time on Sanibel and the location was perfect! The walk to the beach was short and easy for us (family of 4 with 2 kids ages 8 & 10). The pool area was great and the house was spacious. The house was cleaned better than any others we've stayed in on other trips. This was the second time we have stayed at this property and we have already book our next trip. The house is clean well prepared for guest. I noticed the owner replaced the pool pump and heater (which sounded like they were ready to go during our last visit). I share that as we appreciate owners that maintain their property!
