Villa Athena is located in Kato Gouves, inside a big olive grove and 10 minutes away from the beach. The property consists of a traditional villa, a stone studio, two apartments and two maisonettes. There are two identical apartments next to each other, which you can rent together if you like. The stylish apartment is 65 sq.m. (700 sq. feet), with a spacious outdoor area and a magnificent garden, full of colors, fragrances and local flora. The combination of mild climate and comfort, together with the surrounding olive grove creates a tranquil and relaxing environment, ideal for families and couples. The apartment has two big rooms. The first one consists of the living room and the kitchen. The living room is spacious and has also a couch that can be turned into a bed for one person. In the living room you can also find comfortable chairs, tables and a fireplace. The kitchen is open, with an oven, stoves, coffee machine and all the necessary amenities and utensils of a modern kitchen. Τhe bathroom is comfortable with a bathtub and a shower. In the next room there is the bedroom, with a big double bed for 2 people. We can also provide an extra folding bed for a fourth person. So, the house can host a total of 4 people. There is also a closet, drawers and a LCD TV. There is also a storage room inside the bedroom where you can find the laundry machine, the ironing board and where you can store your luggage. The outdoors of the property is absolutely amazing. A well preserved garden, with a barbecue facility and a traditional stone-oven to prepare delicious meals. A lot of tables with colorful chairs and big sun umbrellas with sunbeds are there to help you relax under the Cretan sun. All this setting is surrounded by our family's century old olive grove, that gives the property a traditional Cretan touch. After all, Cretan olive oil is considered to be the best extra virgin olive oil in the world. The area is open and spacious, perfect for a family with children, in order for the kids to play and be close to nature's environment. Finally, the view towards the sea, the olive grove and the hills around is relaxing, while a walk towards the sea is 10 minutes away. The parking space of the property can easily fit up to five cars.
