This property is incredibly comfortable and well planned. The hosts are kind, extremely helpful, and responsive. Left feeling like a friend rather than a guest.
The rental was right up at the water and made for incredible sunsets. The rental was well-stocked and wonderfully clean.
Our 1 month stay at this Oceanside Retreat was amazing. Jayne was so responsive and wonderful to deal with from start to finish. The home was super cozy with cabin like vibes and was equipped with everything we needed over the stay. Looking out the window and seeing the Ocean right there was nothing short of amazing and those sunsets were stunning! We absolutely loved the Birch Bay community. We would absolutely love to come back and stay there again. Thanks so much for everything Jayne!
My wife and I stayed here for a long weekend with a trip into Vancouver for the day. It was clean and comfortable, and a fabulous value. The view onto the bay is spectacular. Easy access to the surrounding area, and an easy 90 minute drive to downtown Vancouver.
My only note is that if you stay during a cold month (we were in December), the heating was a little challenging. There is an in-wall heater in the bedroom and bathroom, and a gas fireplace in the living room. The in-wall heaters definitely struggled to keep the place warm when it was windy and in the 30's (F) outside.
Great to meet the owner . Wonderful ,comfortable place, Easy walk across street to be closer to bay. ( with private sitting area and super comfortable lounge chairs to watch sea birds and wild life.) The surrounding neigborhood very good, easy location to explore from. We really appreciated the good working kitchen that to hosts had provided too, Great for small families and really enjoyed calling it home for a few days. Thanks for the all the attention you gave to both interior & out doors too.
The property is well-maintained and quite cozy. The location is perfect.- away from the main drag of Birch Bay but close to wherever you need to go. I would recommend this property for couples and singles alike.
The home is clean, convenient, spacious, and has a spectacular view of Birch Bay—easy access to restaurants, the beach, and nearby shopping. Appreciate this property's privacy and cleanliness and the simplicity of check-in/check-out.
The listing said it was the whole house. It's not. It is one out of three suites. That being said it was very clean, quiet, had a full size kitchen with all appliances, lots of amenities, and a view. There were condiments, tea, shampoo, conditioner, etc. There's no air conditioning and it does get a little hot. You can't access the master bedroom without going through the first part of the bathroom which is strange. It was easy to park, had lots of outdoor entertaining areas, and had clear directions on everything. We would stay there again.
