This newly remodeled space has all the comforts of a guesthouse. Walk in shower, unique hanging bed, two queen size beds and a blow up mattress is available. Minutes from Hidden Paradise, Long Pine Creek, the Niobrara, and the Cowboy trail, this guesthouse is centrally located in Bassett, Ne. Enjoy wifi and streaming services in an open floor plan with privacy.

During COVID, this space was a one room schoolhouse started by local Mothers. The school grew and moved to a new location, allowing the space to be converted to a guesthouse.

Our stay was wonderful. The space was decorated so cute and had all the amenities listed. It was easy to find and access. No problems at all! Would love to stay here again when traveling back!

Sandhills getaway!

This little VRBO was awesome to stay in. Everything was great and such and easy process to get in and out! We will stay here again if we are back in the Sandhills! Note: there is no kitchen sink or sink deep enough to fill a water bottle.

Great for a short stay for a couple.

The host was very nice and responsive and the location in Basset was close to family we were visiting. The property was clean and well maintained. The town was small but the people were very nice. It was great for our weekend visit, but the lack of a full stove and kitchen sink would be problematic for a longer stay. The wifi dropped out on us but we brought our own cell wifi from home.

Nate, Missy, Hunter, Emma and Ellie are ranchers near Rose Nebraska. We raised commercial feeder cattle and performance horses.

Why they chose this property

This house was built by Missy's family. It was owned by her grandmother and then her cousins who later inherited it. The property was sold outside the family and Missy purchased in back about five years ago. Shortly after purchasing the property, Missy and some other mothers decided to start a one-room schoolhouse in the face of COVID. The guesthouse was utilized as a school for four years before being converted into the rental property.
