2022 Moose hunt

This was our second year renting this property. The location is very close to the Dicky gate and the Little Black gate. About a 20 minute ride to the Allagash gate. It’s a beautiful spot along the river. The one thing that we didn’t like is the water. It’s not good drinking or cooking water, but since we rented there last year, we knew to bring our own water. Plenty of covered porch area to sit and enjoy the quiet spot off the main road. The property manager came over to check in with us the first day we arrived to be sure we were all set. Also came over 3 more times just to check in and if we needed anything he was right there to help us. He also wanted to know how our hunt was going and was able to share some pointers with us. We did get our bull on Wednesday!!!

I grew up in Northern Maine. The cottage is in Allagash and was previously owned by my uncle Roger, who has since retired. Our entire family knows everything about the Northern Maine Woods, and we are pleased to offer a bit of the Maine goodness to you!

Why they chose this property

It is a QUIET place located directly on the river. The views are breathtaking! It is located in the heart of the woods. Renters are very close to any hunting.
