The house was nicely decorated, very simple and nice. The host was responsive and kind, and the check-in and check-out process was an absolute breeze. We enjoyed our stay. The only disappointments were not being able to use the pool; the pump was plugged in, but not circulating the water, making it look unclean. Additionally, the mosquitoes were very bad on the back porch, even with spray and fans.

We stayed on Christmas Day, and the house was decorated for the holidays. It felt very welcoming, clean, and safe. The toys for children was a nice touch, and it kept our child entertained. It was a great place to celebrate the holidays!

Parts of this property were misrepresented. The 2 main reasons I chose this property were the photos of the back yard space and the location. When I got there, the back yard looked nothing like the pictures and the location was definitely not

The description for this home rental is grossly misleading. It is located in a completely different neighborhood (a 10 minute drive from St Edward’s neighborhood across a major highway and in an undesirable area) from what is posted on the VRBO map and in written description. Also the photos are enhanced with AI. While the listing shows a private and heavily landscaped backyard, with many trees and a charming wooden picket fence, in reality the backyard features a chain link fence with direct views into the neighboring yards (and all their backyard junk) missing trees and unkempt gardens. I would be happy to provide photos for comparison.

This place is nothing like the pictures or how it is described. Old, dirty, careless! The shower curtain alone…oh lord…full of mold and yellow stains. I’ve never had to shower and avoid a curtain at the same time. The only reason we did not EVACUATE THE PREMISES IMMEDIATELY was because we were there for a medical procedure for our son and had no time to even look for another place to stay. The yard was unkept. I don’t know why they even advertise a pool? Broken lamps, wobbly beds, uncomfortable mattresses. They promote ‘cloud mattress’. The mattress may be a cloud mattress, but the bed is wobbly, so it kind of negates the cloud mattress. Just the worst place I've ever rented. The kitchen garbage can had no top to it so there were fruit flies all over the place. I advised the property manager after check out. She said I should’ve said something while I was there. I didn’t because we had no time to deal with any of it. So I don’t believe they are going to recompense me in any way…I’m just spreading the word to the next person/family looking at this place. If you want clean, don’t rent here. If you don’t mind flies and some mold, go for it!
