Place was as described. Very comfortable and nicely decorated. Host was easy to communicate with. We had about 8 inches of snow one night and the host cleared the parking and driveway the following morning. We would stay there again!
Property is comfortable and homey. James is a great host and available to help with any issues. Guests should be aware there is great internet and tv service is streaming only. We will definitely stay again.
Easy check-in and check-out. Host is great at communicating local events to enhance your stay. House is within walking distance of many great restaurants and coffee shops.
This house was exactly as listed and it felt like being at home. Perfect location to lots of restaurants in town. Very easy check in and check out. James was easy to reach and took care of everything. Will definitely be staying again. Thank you
We rented the whole house and loved it. Nice sunroom , fully equipped kitchen and landlord made sure everything was perfect. Location couldn’t be beat either!
We were in town to get together with Family and this place fit the bill nicely. Close to downtown and a quick walk to a coffee shops and restaurants and a walking trail. It was clean and comfortable and well equipped.Would recommend!
Our family's stay was amazing! It was immaculate inside and had everything you would need for a relaxing family time. Great size beds, board games. Comfy couch, large kitchen. The closed in porches on front and back were beautiful. The house is beautifully decorated. You are in walking distance to sooo much entertainment! We would love to stay again. The owner is very kind and great with communication. He will answer any question and give you fun suggestions to do in the area. Great area to stay in.
We used it as a base while moving my mother into an assisted living facility. After moving her furniture into the facility and then clearing her house out over three days, this rental was a great place to give our aching muscles a chance to recover. Roomy and comfortable are what helped us recuperate.
My husband and I and two young children stayed for 7 days to visit family. It was super clean and you can tell a lot of thought was put in it to make it feel cozy. There are plenty of board games, all the dishware you need, lots of nice towels, and the beds were comfortable with extra pillows provided. It has black out blinds in each bedroom which we loved for better sleep. Easy to get in touch with the landlord. We had a great stay!
Rental was exactly as expected. Was in a good location for our needs. Didn't use the kitchen much so cannot speak to how stocked it was or wasn't, but bedrooms and living area were clean and comfortable. Bathroom was clean and shower had great water pressure which is hard to find in most rentals. Would stay here again. Thanks!
It was spacious and homie clean and comfortable the host was very easy to talk to and kept communicating without becoming bothersome. It was my first time so i wasnt sure how it was gonna be but the host was awsome.i highly recommend this host and location for anyone staying in this area in the future.

There is a six plug power strip on each side of the bed as well as one in the living room in more than enough outlets in the kitchen. It is impossible to turn off the Wi-Fi or the heat from outside the apartment. The thermostat is in plain sight and not covered by anything. The floor in the kitchen was clean and what you called a stain in the bathtub was a repair patch of resin under the mat which was done till I could get the bathtub replaced and was freshly cleaned like the rest of the apartment.
Can’t beat proximity to downtown and other CT locations.Unfortunately we were hit with icy conditions so we could not enjoy all it has to offer. Owner checked in on us and kept driveway safe and clear. We really appreciated his hospitality. The rental was well equipped with everything you need. I LOVED the sunny kitchen to enjoy my morning coffee. We’ll definitely come back when it is warmer!
My sister and I were on a 10-day vacation of the New England area and came across this gem of a house. It was exactly as advertised on the website. The house was decorated nicely and very welcoming. I loved the front and back porch where we would sit and chat with our morning coffee. I would highly recommend this house and if we were to ever return to the area, we would definitely book this house again. Jim was great with communication too.
I was fairly new to VRBO, host helped alot with some things I missed (thanks!), and I am sure that was a hassle for him. He was very responsive, I met him and he is very invested in doing well. The house is nice, roomy, wifi had no issues, window AC in every room, surprisingly quiet (AC was on), ample parking. Bathroom is small. Great coffee shops etc. short walk across the street.
Loved the house. Be aware that it is *old* and historical, so lots of quirks in size of rooms and the bathroom is very small, but we loved it. You are also on the bottom floor, so if another family/guest is on top of you and you are bothered by that sort of thing just be aware. The house has so many lovely touches - plenty of dishes, cups, great pots and pans and even a small assortment of spices to cook with. Beds are comfortable and the washer and dryer work well. We met the owner and he knows a ton about the area and had great recommendations for us on things to do and see. The area is very walkable and super cute. We’ll absolutely come back.
