Your hosts are Mary Alice & Tom May! Originally from the Finger Lakes & Rochester areas. We moved back to upstate NY to raise our son near our families. We love the Beachcomber and all it's history on Conesus Lake. We are both from large families, and together with our son, nephew, and dedicated staff have renovated, restored, and grown the property over the past 20 years. A historic property that multiple generations have enjoyed for decades.

We love to travel throughout the US & abroad. A passion for meeting new people here as well as during our various adventures. Mary Alice has been in Hospitality since she was a child in various areas but hotels & overnight accommodations are special to her as it creates and opportunity to spoil guests and be a part of their journey. The Beachcomber was built in the early 1930's and an historic restaurant & bar on Conesus Lake. Over the past 2 decades we have restored it while creating a local and tourism favorite for all to enjoy. We love the water so this lake and Livingston County with all it has to offer has been a perfect place to call home. There are so many friendly people in a beautiful setting we saw the potential to restore the property and make it even better.
The hillside views and peaceful water are stunning. Close by we have several beautiful parks, waterfalls, and so many things to enjoy.

This property has it all in one location! With 2 bars and 2 restaurants onsite we offer amazing chef made foods that can be enjoyed 7 days & nights a week! We restored all of the hotel rooms and built the duplex from the ground up opening it in 2021. With 50 dock slips, a sand volleyball court, beach, firepit, live music on our band stage, and more!
It allows all to enjoy the lake, the views, great food, and play and stay all in one location! Another thing besides the property that makes us unique is every guest is important and special to us, we don't take them for granted and truly want to give them a wow experience every visit.
We have created a fun atmosphere in a resort like setting, that our guests enjoy as well as our staff. Everyone enjoys being together, working together to accomplish those common goals and many have been with us for several years!
