Relaxing outdoor atmosphere with many trees, creek for fishing, hiking. Cabin sits on 17 acres with lots of beautiful trees; sleeps 4-5; kitchenette; bath with shower; loft upstairs bedroom with king size bed. Downstairs futon pops out to a comfortable double bed. A rolloway bed is also available.

Several outdoor sitting areas with wrap around deck, television, both gas & charcoal grill, plus smoker at the grilling area. Perfect for a quiet vacation away from the hustle & bustle! Outdoor amenities include fire pit (unless the burn ban is in effect), Fishing, horseshoes, great area for hiking! Farm animals include longhorns, goats, chickens, ducks.

The cabin was great, quiet and peaceful. Owners of the property was very welcoming and so was Gabe the dog. I would recommend this property who is looking for a good getaway.

Great weekend getaway

We had an amazing stay. The owners are very nice and the cabin was nice and cozy. It is a nice country feel, but just a few miles away from the speedway. I would recommend this cabin to anyone staying in the area.

Country relaxing.

My wife and 2 children stayed for 5 days while our house was been worked on inside. It was perfect! Marylin and Johnny are awesome and there for you. We highly recommend to anyone wanting to get away!

Great Get-Away Spot!

This was a fantastic get-away spot! Just needed some RnR and this was perfect! Beautiful quiet property with all the relaxing things, fire pit, grill, hammock, pond etc. Management was fantastic! Great people! Really enjoyed this property and definitely will be back!

Roanoke Cabin

Cozy cabin located on 22 beautiful acres. Great place to stay while on business in Fort Worth. Easy access to the highway , groceries and fuel while maintaining secluded privacy. Marylin has thought of everything so no need to pick up additional supplies. We highly recommend this cabin

Most relaxing fun setting around

This is a wonderfully relaxing, diverse property with very welcoming owners. The wrap around porch, creek, wildlife, fire pit, outdoor grilling/dining, horseshoes etc ensures there’s something for everyone in every kind of weather. I’m definitely going to return!

Country Getaway

If you are looking for a country getaway in the middle of a growing city, this is the place. We saw many wildlife including a bobcat. It is minutes away from shopping and great places to eat. There was great communication with the host from start to finish.

So peaceful!

We LOVED our visit. I loved laying in the hammock and and sitting on the porch admiring the natural beauty. This place invites you to slow down and simplify, even though it’s not far from stores or restaurants. Amazing!

I can not rave enough about this property or the owners Marilyn and Johnny enough! They are so personable, professional and kind. The cabin was clean and cozy. Oasis in the MIddle Middle

It is a great place to stay for a relaxing evening after outings to see all the DFW area has to offer. The outdoor setting includes a firepit, grills, smoker, and TV for watching the game. Our Border Collies enjoyed the open spaces to explore. The upstairs bed was extremely comfortable. Our hosts were exceptional with great communications both before and after our stay.
