Glad you enjoyed your stay. Cayo del Sol has a ideal location to fully enjoy all that Cabo Rojo has to offer. I know closing the pool at 7 pm is not ideal, but is Cayo del Sol Condominium HOA who sets the pool hours. A year ago was 6 pm!

Family vacation

The property was in an excellent location, 15-30 minutes from three of the most beautiful beaches in Puerto Rico, a clean and safe location to be with a family or friends. The rooms were big as well as the beds. I will go on my next visit to Puert Rico.

Good experience / very clean but still have problems with hot shower water even after turning red switch on and putting waterless heater on high. Maybe not very familiar with system. Did enjoy it and will stay here again next year. Thanks Maria.

Great place, very clean and comfortable

This place was very nice and well kept. It was well stocked with all your necessities. If you want a calm authentic Puerto Rica experience, I recommend this condo. The ocean can be viewed from balcony but I wouldn’t consider it beach front. Boqueron beach is the closest beach with nightlife at about 15 minutes away. The resort this unit is located in feels very secluded, so that’s down to opinion if that’s what you want. My Family and I enjoyed our unit overall, but definitely wished it was within walking distance to the beach.

My experience

My stay in Puerto Rico was wonderful. The property was very clean and the location was great. There was always someone on the premises cleaning the grounds. The property also felt secure being a gated community. I would really like to express my gratitude towards the property manager Maria Preston. She was very easy to communicate with and always answered any questions. She was especially understanding when we had to leave 5 days early due to the unexpected passing of my father in Virginia. She was sympathetic and even refunded us for the days that we could not be there. Thank you so much Maria and I hope that we can come back to visit the beautiful island of Puerto Rico again soon.

Our Stay in Cabo Rojo

Our overall stay was excellent! Maria, the property owner kept us informed of everything we needed right from the start which was great given the island was just coming off a COVID lockdown. The accommodations where right on point for my family as well. This is the second time in a year that we rented Maria’s condo and both times were perfect. I would recommend Maria’s condo to any travels visiting PR.

We had a amazing time at the condo was beautiful view amazing and whole place was so clean we had everything we needed except food coook🤣 I recommend the place 100% Maria was great the only down fault was elevator broke down but it was not there fault they had to order the part we met the Maintanance guy Alfredo he was so cool we will come again had great experience

Very nice condo

We had an excellent stay. The place is very well maintained. The only issue was the water did not get hot enough. We tried as suggested to lower the pressure amount but even with that it was warm at best. Despite the water issue, our stay was fantastic and I would recommend this property unless you need piping hot water.

Great condo for families, close to everything

Great, clean condo for families. 3 bedrooms, secure, with great neighbors and easy to get to local beaches, and amenities. Easy to get to beach near Cabo Rojo, snorkeling and scuba out of La Parguera. This was our first time to Puerto Rico and we will definately return. We had a few questions for Maria after checkin, and she responded quickly and everything was taken care of. Our family loves Puerto Rico and we plan on coming back to explore even more. This property isn't on the beach per-se however, we were always going to different beaches, snorkeling, areas to explore we weren't looking for that in this trip. This property is big with 3 rooms, has private, secure parking, great neighbors, fun walk to the beach that is a short trek.

Large, Clean and Comfortable Apartment in Cabo Rojo

This is a large apartment with 3 large bedrooms and a nice living room with free cable TV, a dining room for 6, kitchen and laundry. The master bath shower has a curved glass block wall that is striking. It was clean and comfortable for a family of 6. We stayed the first week of 2020. The apartment feels modern. It was clean. It is a little off the beaten path. We used it as a base to explore the Western side of the island and went to the El Morrillo Lighthouse, Buye Beach, the Arecibo observatory. We ate at El Coral and Buena Vibra restaurants and had some tasty food. There is a nice pool at the apartment. There is a muddy path (recent rains) to a very small beach that we explored just down the road from the apartment, but the owner recommended for us to go to Buya Beach for a better beach. Buya beach was filled with people having fun, enjoying the sun. The only negatives are low water pressure and there is not much to do in walking distance of the apartment, you just have to drive. There is a Walgreens a couple of minutes away for food and any last minute items. Maria, the manager, was always very responsive. I would recommend to stay here.

Glad you enjoyed your stay at Cayo del Sol. We don't advertise it as having internet. I am guessing you did not read the information or got confuse by another property you might have looked at before booking ours. Sorry you had problems with hot water at master bath. If during your stay you would have informed us about the lack of hot water, we would have fix it. We did fix it after your stay once the cleaning lady informed about it. The hot water line got clogged with dirt from a Water Company (AAA) repair near the area.
