Our stay at this property was amazing. The house is beautiful, the pool was so fun and the views were amazing. Murphy is a great little town too. Can’t wait to go back.

Great house for a trip to visit the mountains with very nice privacy while still close to town/stores restaurants. House was very clean, and the views were better in person. Really nice to have the pool and hot tub and both were nice and private-just be prepared as both options are fully in the sun all day so make sure to bring protection and sunscreen! All appliances were in working condition, and the house was still in great condition despite it being end of season. We did separate lake days at lake Chatuge and Nantahala lake. Both were great but Nantahala’s higher elevation and protected shore lines were absolutely stunning. Also the boat rentals at Nantahala were cheaper and same quality as chatuge. Casino was also really fun and the Gordon Ramsay rooftop restaurant was superb if you are looking for a nicer dinner. We visited the town of blueridge which was really cute with shopping and restaurants. We did the train ride that left out of blueridge but not sure I would recommend the train part.

The pool was great, the kids really enjoyed all the pool toys. Used the grill. Everyone said their beds were awesome, not sure if we so tried or great beds, but we all sleep well. We hope to be back next May.

The favorites for our sisters and friends week was the large deck with a view, basking on floats in the pool, and being able to eat outside at the table on the deck where we could all fit. We love playing cards and other games, so the large tables inside and out were perfect for 6 women. Everything was clean upon arrival. Since we prepared meals the kitchen size and layout was a bit challenging, but everything can't be perfect for everyone. The one way road in and out may make some people nervous. But it isn't too steep at any point and when you get to the house the parking and turn around space is large, accommodating our 3 vehicles easily. We already booked for 2027!

Our stay was great. Plenty of room for the fam to spread out between the indoor & outdoor spaces. The pool, hot tub, fire pit & pingpong table kept everyone entertained. The views are BEAUTIFUL- pictures hardly do it justice. Communication with the host was great - friendly & attentive. The home is very close to many things to do in the town. There is the cutest little family of deer that seemed to be our wildlife neighbors - we saw them all the time. Would definitely recommend!

Hands down one if my favorite getaways! The Host is wonderful, the property is incredible! The view, hot tub and pool are 100% worth it!! The home is just as beautiful! 10/10 would do again. No hesitation! I promise!! It's 10000% worth it, just book it!!

The property was absolutely wonderful! It was even better in person than the photos. It was exactly what my husband and I were looking for - quiet, private, beautiful views, and so cozy. I got to see my first in-person sightings of both a Luna moth and a Bald Eagle!! The kitchen was VERY well stocked with everything you could need to cook, which we did because we liked the place so much, we didn't even want to leave to go out to dinner! Communication with the host was super easy, and he was extremely responsive and helpful. We do VRBO once, if not twice, each year, and we have never gone back to the same place twice because we like to try different things, but my husband and I both agreed we will come back to this one!

This house was very nice but the views were spectacular! Not to mention the multiple families of deer that came to nearby properties was special! We also really enjoyed many jacuzzi and fire pit evenings. The town of Murphy was also very conveniently located close to the property with some nice breweries and restaurants.

Best pool and lake view! So nice, we've come twice!

Our second visit and the view over the lake draws us in every time. Comfy deck furniture and lots of pool toys. Location convenient to groceries, restaurants and outdoor activities. Don't miss the donuts at Rare Bird Emporium.

Had a very relaxing week hanging by the pool enjoying the mountain view. Nice house with plenty of room and lots of windows to enjoy the scenery. My grandson loved seeing the deer that showed up every day! It's located on a dead end road, so it's very peaceful.
