Welcome to your perfect Galveston getaway! This stunning 3,600 sq ft Bermuda Beach home offers panoramic views of both the Gulf and the bay, just a 1-minute walk to the beach. Located at the end of a quiet lane, you’ll enjoy added privacy while still being steps from the shoreline.

Load and start the dishwasher
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Lock the doors
Main Deck - Return all chairs and umbrellas to storage on deck. Lower Deck - Return all cushions to storage deck. Ground Level - BBQ turn off propane and cover BBQ.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Information including names and ages of all guest, copy of drivers license, contact names etc will be required to finalize reservation.
Prom/High School events have additional pre approval with a minimum of 2 parents of a student in attendance on premise during entire stay.
No EV Charging Electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles may not be charged at this property. Please use a public charging station.

Finding a 5-bedroom home with an elevator is tough, only 5 or 6 came up in our search, and this home easily won out. The elevator was a complete lifesaver for our elderly parents and a family member recovering from a knee replacement, making the multi-level layout entirely stress-free for them.The house was extremely well-equipped and accommodated our group of 15 overnight guests (plus several day visitors) comfortably from Friday to Tuesday.Parking at beach houses is notoriously difficult with strict no-street-parking rules. This property blew us away by comfortably fitting 7 cars plus a golf cart, which is rare and made logistics effortless for a large group.

Beautiful home with just the right amount of space!

We loved staying there! It was the perfect spot with just a short walk to the pedestrian beach. With smaller boys, this was perfect! Loved everything about this house and location!

Perfect getaway!

My family and our friend's family really enjoyed our time here. Just steps from the beach was the best part. Plenty of space and great views. The owners were fantastic to deal with and were very helpful when I made a booking mistake. I definitely recommend staying here and I hope we can visit again soon.

Yes, our home does have stairs but there is also an elevator available for our guest to use. Our listing and photos clearly state/show that the house is on pilings and that there is a floor with most of the bedrooms, a main floor and a small crows nest,

Easter Beach Stay and just a few feet away.

Amazing house and a beautiful view with a path that's just a few steps from the beach. All the amenities you need, big kitchen, plenty of rooms, minutes from convinience stores and an elevator to haul our luggage and get our over 90 grandfather to his floor. We are Jeff and Leslie, retired professionals who love to travel and enjoy life. We’re fortunate to own and manage four vacation homes in some of our favorite places—Galveston, Texas; Petoskey, Michigan; Ventura, California; and New York City’s Upper West Side.

We spend time between our homes throughout the year depending on the season and rental schedules. In the spring and fall, we usually set out on longer travels, often exploring internationally and enjoying extended cruises.

When we are away, our daughter Sasha and our daughter-in-law Melissa help with guest messages so you’ll always have someone available if you need anything. We also have a local property manager/contact for each home if on-site assistance is ever needed during your stay.

We truly enjoy sharing our homes with guests and hope you feel comfortable and at home .

Why they chose this property

We purchased this home as a place to bring our family together and create lifelong memories. With our children and grandchildren living in the Houston area, we often gathered in Galveston and quickly realized how special it was to spend time by the beach. After renting in the historic district for several family weekends, we decided to create a place of our own where we could come together for holidays and extended visits.

Over time, it has become a favorite gathering spot not only for our immediate family, but also for relatives visiting from out of town.

The name Mar~Sea Shoals is a blend of our last names, along with a nod to the coast—“mar” meaning sea, and “shoals” reflecting the sandbars along the shoreline (and maybe a little fun along the way).

We hope our home becomes a place where your family and friends can come together, relax, and create lasting memories of your own.

What makes our home unique is the combination of space, layout, and flexibility for large groups. At over 3,600 square feet, it’s designed so everyone can be together—without ever feeling crowded. With multiple indoor and outdoor gathering areas, guests can come together for meals and activities or spread out into smaller groups for more relaxed, private moments.

The reverse floor plan maximizes the views, especially the dramatic sunsets, the unique crow’s nest offers a one-of-a-kind space to take in the scenery from above. Combined with expansive decks, elevator access, and a quiet end-of-lane location, the home offers both convenience and a sense of privacy that’s hard to find.
