Good stay

The property is nice, decently kept but some minor improvements could be made. All in all a good place with a pool. Location is a little interesting. We had a ton of fun in the yard catching lizards, playing the ring game, in the pool, etc. We found ourselves venturing to Clearwater daily. Tampa wasn’t it for us.

Could be better but now bad.

Overall it was ok. I stayed with my family after thanksgiving . The area is “up and coming” to say the least. We did stay off season so not sure if they were ready for us. When we go there our bed sheets were dirty and we had to wash the floors. The owner did take off the cleaning fee, which was nice. Lesson learned on this one was to check the area you are staying before booking

A weekend getaway for my sister’s 44th birthday gone wrong.

There were five of us traveling to Tampa for a short getaway for my sister’s 44th birthday so we were hopeful for an overall great experience. Nice property with a few cosmetic flaws. The foosball table was damaged as well as stains on bedding and towels which was communicated to the host. Initially the host responses were ok but when we had a major issue the communication was lacking and overall poor. On our last night of the stay the lights in the room where the birthday girl slept began flickering then completed went out. It was pitch black dark in the room and it was around 8pm. I reached out to the host to inform them and the host basically told me they were aware, this had been an issue before I booked unbeknownst to me. The host didn’t offer much more of an explanation nor a solution. So I messaged them back and asked what was I supposed to do? We can’t see in the dark. I received a response the next morning when it was LIGHT outside , two hours before checkout, telling me where the breaker box was and suggesting I check the breaker. They also offered to send someone out and said “but it’ll be after you checkout” LOL! I told them that was unacceptable and got an “I’m sorry you feel that way”. No effort to accommodate us in any way. This was my first and last time booking via VRBO

My family and I had a great experience staying here. Such a beautiful home to stay in. Enough room for my kids to do their own things. Loved the backyard. Also, it was located in area where everything was close which was a a huge convenience for us. Would definitely come back to stay again
