Just 2 blocks from Main Street, the downtown location means that grocery stores, restaurants, art galleries, trendy cafes are all at your doorstep! We are also just a short half block to an integrated creekside trail system that showcases jaw-dropping views of the stunning Canadian Rockies!

The loft features 23-foot vaulted ceilings, soaring 8-foot walls of glass flanking a cozy log/river stone fireplace & hi-speed wireless internet. Enjoy stunning views whether you are lounging in bed, relaxing on the leather sofa, working out in the gym or soaking in the rooftop hot tub! Even though the hot-tub and gym are shared with other occupants of the building, they are rarely crowded because there are 3 gyms and 3 hot-tubs in the building.

At Birch Haven, you can pamper yourself with our feather-bed topper for plush bedding comfort. Or remove the topper, if you prefer a firmer mattress. We even offer a 'library' of pillows to accommodate your preferences.

Upon request, we also offer hard-to-find amenities that make a real difference to parents: a portable playpen/crib, plus a dining high chair for your little one!

DISCLAIMERS: Please be aware due to mountain conditions, we cannot guarantee 24/7 wifi as provider outages that are beyond our control sometimes can occur. The hot-tubs are shared amenities and are subject to periodic closure for cleaning/maintenance. There are 3 hot-tubs in the building complex (2 rooftop and 1 indoor), so there is usually at least one that is open. However, we cannot guarantee availability as the cleaning/maintenance schedule is beyond our control.

BED/BATH CONFIGURATION:
Birch Haven is designed to sleep 6-7 persons. Additionally, one infant (if applicable) can sleep in the portable playpen (provided upon request).

Bedding/bath configuration is as follows:
Main level bedroom: One queen barnwood bed. There is a separate full bathroom next door (American-style bathtub with handheld/mounted shower). Extra single mattress on floor.

Loft level bedroom and bath (note: both are open to living room below): One queen log canopy bed. Full open bath in bedroom (European-style soaking tub with handheld shower)

Living room: One double sleeper sofabed. Upon request, there is also a portable playpen/crib for infants/toddlers.

Drive to Columbia Glacier, the largest non-polar ice-cap in the world, hop on a snocoach and walk on the face of the glacier! Or, for a taste of the Wild West, hop on a wagon picnic excursion or saddle up a horse.

Hikers will find thousands of miles of maintained trails Try heli-hiking, and have a helicopter drop you off at the top of a remote peak, pick you up at the bottom, after you take a leisurely hike down!

And then there is golf. With 6 world-class golf courses and 135 spectacular holes nearby, Canmore is a golfer's mecca. Three courses (Stewart Creek, Silvertip and Canmore Golf & Curling Club) are within a few minutes' drive...

WINTER ACTIVITIES:
