We stayed in Linden a Georgian house in Slane for 2 nights in early October. The hosts, Susan and Nigel, were in regular contact leading up to the stay. Susan was extremely reassuring as I think I forgot a few things in the booking such as us bringing a dog. She was there to meet us and explained a few things. The house is wonderful. Full of style but cosy at the same time with plenty of comfy chairs/sofa in the sitting room. We cooked both nights and the kitchen had all what was needed and there was a central table for us to comfortably sit. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom very clean with a good shower. Slane is close is near to astonishing megalithic sites and the battle of the Boyne site and we wanted to stay close by on our back to Dublin.
