There was a leak in the shower from the rain which the host considered normal because it "hardly ever rains here". The skylight was literally open to the air with no covering and rain leaked in, traveled across the ceiling and dripped into the shower while you were showering. That created a freezing draft and we found bugs and a worm in the shower as well. The main front door, which I'm sure was the approved entrance when they built the place, is locked and not usable. You have to enter by walking through a gravel planter and opening a gate into the unit's little exterior patio area, then entering the unit through the sliding glass door. You can't roll your suitcases through it. The sliding glass door can only be opened or locked using a key. That includes exiting from the inside. So you either had to leave the door unlocked at night, or use a key to get out. Not great in an emergency, and definitely not legal and up to fire code.
