This was the camp cooks' cabin just on the other side of the cafeteria at Gray's Riverside Camp. It has been restored into a 1 bedroom 1 bath cabin for 2 people. This is a 12-square-foot cabin with a cozy bedroom, you'll find a comfortable retreat after a day of exploring. Stay connected with WiFi and enjoy the warmth of the heating system during cooler evenings. The outside of the cabin is cinderblock but the inside is something you will feel comfortable in if you like tiny homes. The doorways are smaller along with the bathroom. It is not equipped with a kitchen so you will have to use the bathroom sink for your dishes.

This place is a great little get away. Angie is a wonderful person and a great host. If you want an affordable quiet and enjoyable get away I recommend this. We enjoyed walks to the river, and sitting by a campfire each night.

This little cabin is definitely a "not for everybody" but perfect for us two, 60 plus husband and wife of 43 years! It was one of the most peaceful and quiet get a ways ever. Angie is a great host!
This is a great little rustic getaway. Angie, the owner was working on the property and she was very nice and friendly. Make sure to take a short walk to see the Muskegon River ... Very peaceful and serene.
Angie did a great job with answering any questions I had before and during my stay. The campground was fun to walk around and explore. There is access to a nice paved trail for biking or walking, and the kayaking was amazing. The town of Big Rapids was just a short drive with a super cute little downtown area. I had the best coffee ever at Belle's Coffeehouse. The Jim Crow Museum at Ferris State University is a must see. My only complaint would be that the hot water in the shower barely lasted 5 minutes, so had to be super quick.
This was such a great little place to stay. Wonderful location, close enough to town if you need anything, but quiet, private and right next to the hiking trail and river. Angie the owner is just the sweetest person and made sure we had everything we needed! Definitely be staying here again.
We were prepared to stay at the property listed, but it didn't have an air mattress for my son, we didn't bring ours. So the owner was nice enough to move us into a bigger cabin (she offered without us even asking).
Our time there was wonderful!

Host is awesome! Sweet little place. Perfect for one. Could be very cozy for two, if those two like being close. Property overlooks the Muskegon. Beauitiful property.
Cabin was very clean, welcoming, and well stocked. Bed was very comfortable. Even though there was no kitchen, there is a mini fridge, griddle, and toaster. I did notice hot water ran out quicker than what I'm used to, but I sped up my showers and it was fine. Fire pit with wood supplied was nice and relaxing to sit by. Paved white pine trail running right by the cabin was nice for long walks with my dog. The property is nice and peaceful, easy walk down to the river. Wonderful, peaceful stay!!
