Inside, you'll find a spacious and welcoming living area centered around a cozy woodstove — ideal for warming up after a day outdoors. The fully equipped kitchen makes group meals easy, and high-speed internet ensures you can stay connected if needed. With a washer and dryer on site, Hart is well-suited for both weekend getaways and longer stays.

Step outside to enjoy the large wraparound porch, an open deck with a gas grill (available mid-May through mid-October), and a huge lawn perfect for yard games in the summer or snow play in the winter. Evenings are best spent gathered around the firepit under the stars. With a three-night minimum and year-round appeal, Hart is your ideal home base for making Rangeley memories in every season.

Ski trip

This house was perfect for a ski trip with friends and our families. There was plenty of room, close to the mountain, everything was clean and comfortable and we had a fantastic time. I highly recommend!

Great place for a group.

We truly enjoyed our stay. 5 adult couples had plenty of space and more. A few things to update but very responsive to communicate with. Great area for motorcycle riding was a plus.

Fantastic home - close to everything

We had a great stay at the Hart cottage. It was spectacularly clean and organized. The location is great as it's a short drive from town and you can easily head to the lake or even into neighboring towns. I would highly recommend this location for families as the yard and small fire pit provided great entertainment for the kids. There was lots of space to relax and many dining options in the kitchen / dining areas. If we ever need a rental in the area again, we will be back!

House was great! Plenty of room for everyone, we really enjoyed the wrap around porch with awesome Mountain View's. Very close to downtown, the IGA ( Only grocery store) and saddleback mountain. We have been coming to Rangeley for many years and the last 3 have been thru Morton and Furbish! Great service by them and always a clean house!

Good location, nice house, bad beds

Beds were very old and uncomfortable. Feels like low hanging fruit for a rental and we were disappointed that this was overlooked. The rest of the house and process was as advertised.

Hart home rental

We've been renting this house for about 9 years now. It's perfect for the 6 couples we go snowmobiling with. Warm and spacious. Only a few minutes from Rangeley center in case you want to hang out at the local restaurants and shops. We'd like to say it's a terrible place and keep it to ourselves but it's been nothing but perfect for us.

The location of the house itself was beautiful 5communication was hard to get a hold of somebody, upon arrival. Never got an emailOr directions of how to get into the house with a code. House had lots of flies & Asian beetles 2nd floor & upstairs we had to do a lot of vacuuming in the windows on the floors. Ceiling fan on the main floor is missing a blade on it, Keirig machine didn’t work. ALL Beds could all use upgrades, very hard. The mountainous pscenery & location definitely makes up for all the little things;

January Weekend

This was a great location and very flexible house. I would give it 4 1/2 stars if an option. We were a blend of families that skied at Saddleback. Perfect for getting to the mountain early in the morning and coming back to relax at the end of the day. The only issue was the heat. The sounds of the pipes kept some people awake in the basement and the attic is not heated. So, the door needed to stay open which also was not great for some sleepers. And, bring your own knives if you like to cook. But, very flexible sleeping arrangements and excellent group space. The wood stove was perfect after a day of skiing. We would book again.

This property is absolutely beautiful! It is just out of village to have privacy but close enough to enjoy everything that is offered! Gorgeous wrap around deck to enjoy coffee in the morning and drinks in the evening on! Very spacious and comfortable for the group of 10 that we gad. Would definitely stay again!!❤️

Great family vacation spot

We had a great week at Rangeley and we're very pleased by the services provided by Morton & Furbish. Property was a great size abs layout for 2 families enjoying a ski vacation - close to the mountain and downtown. House needs some updating: water heater is leaking, dishwasher top shelf off tracks, master shower leaked slightly. But otherwise comfortable beds abs nice open spaces.

A Great Winter Getaway!

Our family loved our stay at Hart House! We stayed during the week between Christmas and New Years with friends/family and the house was perfect for us. We loved sitting around the wood stove and the kids had a blast sledding in the yard. Though we had hoped to snowmobile (trails were closed) we enjoyed everything else Rangeley had to offer, from great food and local shops to skiing Saddleback! We will definitely look to stay at Hart House again in the future, and certainly will use Morton and Furbish who went above and beyond for us!

Wonderful stay at the Hart House!

Second stay at the Hart House up on Dallas Hill. All natural wood, 4 levels of living space and fully equipped kitchen. Just got back from a 10 day stay. Very spacious and clean home. Quick five minute ride to town and lake. And once Saddleback opens, it's right on the way to the mountain!

perfect property

The house was as described, full stocked with all appliances and utensils we could possibly need. Beautiful property in prime location, perfect for big groups. No complaints at all, we had a blast and the property management was INCREDIBLY accomodating and helpful with some requests and allowing my trailer to stay in the driveway past checkout while I attempted to get an emergency repair completed. would absolutely stay here again in the future
