Enjoy the Depot Suite, established in 2024, located in the heart of Elkader, IA. The Suite is located in the Main Street District featuring two bedroom, one bathroom along with a living room and a kitchen. This suite has everything you need to have a relaxing stay in Elkader, IA. The depot was built in 1875, then a flood destroyed the tracks. In 1882, Milwaukee Rd rebuilt the railroad to the depot. In 1973 the railroad was shut down.
This is an upstairs unit with two bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen, and living room with a TV. You’ll have your own A/C & furnace to set the temperature to your liking! There is a fold out futon in the living room if extra bed is needed.

Great location

Quiet and clean apartment centrally located to downtown which was perfect for walkability. There was a small issue with the outer door getting locked without us knowing the code but the host was very responsive and quickly got back to us with the information. Nice and comfortable stay!
