Says sleeps 4 assumed there would be a bedroom. To our surprise no it was a Murphy bed and pull out couch in one room. Nice and cozy for sure. Luckily didn't stay inside at all. All day on the bikes. Balcony is not large.

2/10 Terrible

Nice location but poor amenities

It was so so, no balkony, think the title is for a different one but i will write it here. When booking I failed to realize (or ask) about AC it is summer... no AC in the unit..... even thought it was mountains and outside temp was lower that in city, arrival day was 40C outside and same inside...the little fan did little to move the air and it was top floor too! We could not sleep. Fortunately weather cooled 2 days later. Half of the lights did not work. Loaded the dishwasher on departure (6am) to realize there wa no dishwasher liquid left. Older unit as well, but the wall bed was good and sofa bed OK too.. Got to ask more questions up front before booking any of these....good we only stayed 3 nights... Richard

Hello. Thank you for taking the time to review your stay. As mentioned, this studio that you requested was no longer available at the time of booking, so we assisted you in finding an alternative studio (which didn't have a balcony). It was also unfortunate you arrived during the heat wave (although many of our guests loved the heat and the outdoor patios) - it isn't as comfortable sleeping at night. None of the units at Silver Star have air conditioners as it is usually a comfortable 10 degrees cooler than the sweltering valley. Thank you for advising about the lights and dishwashing fluid. This should not have been the case, and we apologize. Will follow up with the home owner to ensure these are taken care of. Thanks again for staying. If you are coming up again, we would be more than happy to book you in to our normal studio accommodation or any of our other condos that might be more suitable for you. Thanks again for taking the time for a review. Diana Young & the team at Silver Star Stays

6/10 Okay

Decent value for the money

Furthest from the village but we enjoyed the solitude away from services and backing onto trees. There's no elevator so we carried our bikes up and down the stairs - not a big deal. The place is tastefully furnished with all kitchen supplies to self-cater. The only surprise was that it isn't a true 2 bedroom - the "wall" for the second bedroom is a curtain. So not suitable for couples splitting the cost, but would suffice for a family.

Thank you for taking the time to post a review. This property, however was unavailable when you booked, so we assisted you by finding you a one bedroom/plus alcove which was clearly stated in the description that we sent you about this alternative. We did not indicate that it was a 2 bedroom and we are sorry that you were under this impression. Additionally we did advise that this is a walk up unit and that there was no elevator at the time of booking. The actual listing that we have that you posted this review on is a studio condo on the ground floor. I am glad you enjoyed your stay and hope that you will come back again. We do have a number of ground floor condos ranging from this studio to 2 bedroom condos that don't require stairs. Thanks again for your booking. Diana and the team at Silver Star Stays
