Beautiful old fashioned farm house which has been remodeled/updated. First class appliances - fridge stove etc with a well stocked kitchen- pts/pans etc.Master king bed on main floor is a comfortable bed- lovely furniture. Very comfortable for our stay.Private quite location in the countryside with fire pit which we enjoyed.
Beautiful Country house, the whole family absolutely loved it. From the booking w Jennafer to our last morning there, everything was as posted and very comfortable and welcoming.
Host was very responsive to any questions, answered in minutes every time. House is clean and comfortable. Also is located on the edge of state property for those who enjoy a nature walk
Everything was more than accommodating to the group. The host was awesome to work with responded within minutes. We enjoyed the stay everyone in the group was pleased. We all had a blast. So peaceful no traffic just open outdoors, and beautiful scenery. We planned to be back next year.
This farmhouse was excellent for our family Christmas get together. The house was great and large emough for our whole age range of family members. Thank you fo
Property was clean, beautiful, fully stocked with everything we needed, and super cozy. Jennafer the host communicated very well and even left us treats for our group and our doggies. Everyone had a nice clean and comfy bed and so much space to spend time together. Definitely recommend!!
We werebin town for a quick wedding trip. This house was perfect for our group of 6 adults. The house was spacious, welcoming, clean, and accommodating. One of our party is handicapped. We had zero issues. The host was quick to respond. Our trip was definitely a 10/10.
We greatly enjoyed staying at this wonderful tranquil farmhouse while visiting the quilt stores in Hamilton (25 mins away). Whether hanging out on the porches to watch the sunrises and sunsets or walking our dogs around the property and little-traveled adjacent country roads. Jennafer very thoughtfully provided welcoming treats for not only us but the pooches too. We would gladly stay again.
We had such a great time with the farm house. As former residents of the area, we can confirm this is true farm house experience: gravel roads, farm land, sunsets, brief storms, windmills, and a huge bonus backing up to the conservation area. Over our trip we saw so much wildlife from white tail deer, coyotes, a ground hog, bats, a family of raccoons, and a bald eagle.Being rural does mean you need to plan for a few necessities if you aren't used to farm life. the two biggest is first bring bottle water for drinking and cooking since well water in MO is heavily farm influenced but fine for showers/laundry. Second don't skip bug spray on your ankles/shoes if you plan to explore any of the grassy areas because the chiggers will find you lol.House it self is also the real deal, but updated enough to provide a comfortable experience. Kitchen is well stocked with utensils, pots/pans, napkins, trash bags, etc.
Beautiful property- we hosted our family for a picnic and backyard barbecue. Grill and kitchen are wonderful - comfortable king sized bed. Quiet.Appliances all work. Oven is small. Kitchen is well equipped. Beautiful large yard. Great fire pit. We sure do appreciate being able to have our dogs with us. They loved it too. We love this place.
Our group was 4 adults and 2 kids. This place sits in a quiet area with very minimal traffic. We all got the relaxing, peaceful reset that we needed. The house is big enough for everyone to have their own space, while providing areas to all come together. The 10 yr old of our group had plenty of outdoor space to run off energy without us having to worry. We all enjoyed the outdoor seating as much as we could for the whole week. We all agree that its a 10/10 and highly recommend! Thank you to the host for everything! (The Amish cookies were amazing, btw!)
