Johnson City is home to this holiday home. Southold Farm & Cellar and William Chris Vineyards are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those wishing to experience the area's natural beauty can explore Lyndon B. Johnson State Park and Lyndon B. Johnson National Historical Park. Texas Hill Country Wineries and Exotic Resort Zoo are also worth visiting.
The Glampgrounds gives off tiny home vibes! The close proximity to several wineries makes it super convenient! Very clean property and the pool was an added bonus! Perfect for a quick weekend getaway!!
Great weekend getaway. Nice change from a hotel stay. Nice and quiet area. Perfect size for 2 people. Great communication with property. We will definitely stay again!!
I rarely leave a review, but we loved this place so much we had to make sure everyone knew! We have been to the area many times and this is now our favorite place to stay. They thought of everything. It is the perfect location to be between Fburg and JC. We loved the wineries nearby, especially Portree and bfast tacos at Tequila Jalisco on 290 in Stonewall. Quick drive to Luckenbach- stop by Leroy's Tex Mex BBQ on the way for brisket nachos!!
Our host was great at communicating and making sure we had everything we needed. The unit was cute, clean and comfortable. The out-of-the-way location was so nice because it was quiet and we could see stars so well at night. Although it was out of the way, it was not far from many wineries, breweries, distilleries and the Holiday Lights of Johnson City, which was an incredible coincidence for our visit. Deer came in to visit each morning along with the local highland cows. The hot tub was a great way to unwind at night. We would definitely come back and would recommend to anyone who wants to get away in the Texas Hill Country.
