This was a great house for a family meet up ( from 4 different states!)We enjoyed having the whole house.Check in was easy and we could walk to the Hay’s Aquatic Center !!
Like staying in a piece of history - but with modern conveniences! Hosts have thought of everything to make for a comfortable stay. Our little one loved the park right down the street! 5 stars all around
We had a reunion of 5 college friends. We all attended Fort Hays 50 years ago! This location was lovely and unique. I will never forget the fun we had singing and playing guitars together, and exploring the lovely shops downtown. We all loved the house and it was a perfect fit for us. The host quickly responded to all communications.
The house is lovely and just as described. It was very nice for our overnight stay on our long journey out West. It worked out perfectly. Also easy to find and a nice safe neighborhood.
The Buffalo Haus is listed as a quaint historic house in the heart of Hays, Kansas. The information in the listing was all accurate, however, could not convey the charm and feel of the property. We were absolutely pleased with all facets of the stay, from the reservation and initial greeting/information packet provided by the host, through check-in, stay, and departure. This is an exemplary property and host situation that should be duplicated by others wanting to be successful. Thank you for making our stay during a family reunion feel yet more special.
