A very relaxing stay for our family and doggo. Lots of space, comfortable room and a lovely kitchen. Had everything we needed except for a hairdryer but everything else was thought of and catered for. We would definitely stay again. Rick was responsive and made the experience very easy.

Thanks for the opportunity to host you, Joanne. Looking forward to seeing you next time when you visit the area.
PS - We have now put 2 new hairdryers in each bathroom :)
We had a lovely long weekend the 2 living areas where great (l didn’t have to watch the football) and ment the grandkids could play. Good kitchen facilities. Only downsides were no door on the 4th bedroom or the en suite. We would definitely stay here again.
We enjoyed the spacious house and large garden in the countryside with a short drive to local ammenities. A very clean and relaxing house with a great secure patio area for your dog. We look forward to returning for another holiday. Thank you Rick.
Not overly clean - quite a few spiderwebs on furniture. Door handle on one bedroom doesn’t work and one guest had trouble getting out of the bedroom. Some doors couldn’t be unlocked. Instructions were to lock the gate on leaving, but the gate is off its hinges, plus chain and lock don’t reach around gate. Rubbish bins were full and overflowing, attracting a lot of flies. Security cameras everywhere, plus screen in the laundry felt like we were being spied on.

Dear Sue, Thank you for your feedback. We genuinely appreciate you taking the time to share your experience.
We are sorry to hear that some aspects of your stay did not meet expectations. The property is professionally cleaned before each visit, however as this is a farm setting, cobwebs can sometimes reappear quite quickly despite regular cleaning.
Our house rules do note that if any cleaning issue is noticed during the stay, guests are encouraged to let us know so our local team can respond promptly and address it. We would have been very happy to assist had we been made aware at the time.
We are also sorry to hear about the difficulty with the bedroom door handle and some of the locks. Likewise, if this had been raised during the stay, our local team would have done their best to assist as quickly as possible.
To clarify, guests are only required to secure the main house using the smart lock on departure, and the farm gate itself does not need to be locked. We also understand the security setup may have felt uncomfortable, however all cameras are external only and are there for guest safety and property security. The screen inside allows guests to view the outside area without needing to step outside.
Regarding the bins, council collection in the area is fortnightly, and we provide spare bin bags while asking that bins be placed toward the back of the property between collections.
We value all feedback and will continue working to improve the guest experience for future guests.
Host was great to deal with. Property and Location were excellent for what our stay required. Lots of space in the home. It was great for us family of 5.
Nice rural setting with plenty of space for gathering - multi generation celebration or friends holiday. Enclosed courtyard for dog. Front gate could be closed for larger dog roaming area. Plenty of horses about and lovely native plantings in garden. Loved the perfume of freesias when you arrive. Not far from ‘town’ with access to all the expect CBD activities. Don’t miss SAM (Shepparton Art Museum)!
