Updated old house with high end furnishings in a quiet, established neighborhood. Two houses down from the Mont and a few blocks from the OU stadium, the location is exceptional and well kept inside. (My yard is a work in progress.) The space is inviting and fully equipped but this is not a house for loud people/parties/barking dogs. No noise after 9pm.

Mature behavior and respect for the property please. I'm really proud of this house and my belongings and don't want any problems or consequences. TY
No noise after 9pm. I've had to buy decibel readers to monitor noise. I respect my neighbors and they are very quiet.

We had a comfortable two night stay and our dogs lived the yard! Everything you could ever need is stocked for the kitchen! We appreciated the thick towels and comfortably bedding with plenty of blankets throughout the house! Very cute and homey! We highly recommend!

Thank you, Kris! You guys were a delight to host. Come back anytime!
It was a wonderful location! Close to everyone. Our host was super responsive and very accommodating. House was adorable and a perfect set up. Would stay there again!
Loved my stay at this house. The owner has everything you could need for your stay and she was super attentive if I reached out with questions. The house was decorated beautifully and very comfortable and cozy. Would definitely stay there again.
We were very happy with our stay. The house was spacious and met all of our needs. There was plenty of room for us and the family we were visiting. The neighborhood was very nice to walk the dog. Mariah was an excellent host and was very responsive, keeping in touch before and during our stay.
We celebrated my sisters birthday with our family. House was perfect for our small gathering. Beautifully decorated. Mariah did a wonderful job with the details. Unfortunately we couldn’t use the backyard due to the heavy rain leaving it so wet. We did use the deck. Yard worked well for our dog. Quiet neighborhood. Will stay here next time we head west!
This place was a great find for anyone wanting to be close to OU campus. The house itself has partially been updated, but a few old features have not left... doors that don't close/latch easily, windows painted shut, etc. Purely cosmetic stuff for the most part. Overall, the host was amazing, the house was clean, and there were plenty of housewares to use. Our dog enjoyed the backyard, but there was a skunk prowling around at night. Luckily he did not get sprayed! We really enjoyed our time here, it was a great host, place and location.
The host was awesome at communicating - she even had the house ready early which was a treat since I arrived in town earlier than expected. The house is located in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood with lots of great eateries nearby. This house had a great backyard, nice parking area, and was just so cute and inviting. The decor was fun, and the architecture was stunning - kitchen was beautiful, lots of great seating available, gorgeous light fixtures, bedrooms were nicely done and very comfy & inviting, and the owner of the home has a great artistic eye for detail. The large bedroom was very comfortable and had a large electric fireplace which was a nice treat. My kids came to visit me at the house, and they loved it as well - lots of room to spread out and just relax. I highly recommend this home to anyone visiting the Norman, OK area - you will not be disappointed!

About the host

I split my time between Norman and Denver, love travel and pursuing adventure. I've done house flipping and interior design, I appreciate beautiful spaces. This is the 6th short term rental I've set up and I'm the proudest of it.
Why they chose this property
A highly sought-after historic neighborhood with lots of trees and a quiet vibe. Most have immaculately landscaped yards (I'm still working on mine). We are two blocks from a creek so if there are definitely raccoons, possums, skunks, some red foxes, and lots of birds.
What makes this property unique
This house has been tastefully renovated while keeping the charm of the original floors, wood trim, and windows. All the amenities a kitchen could have plus plenty of dishware and baking equipment. The backyard is a generous size with multiple places to sit and a fire pit and games. It's a serene house so close to campus and in my opinion, the perfect location for walking. My neighbors value tranquility so the quiet hours are very important.
