Timekeepers Retreat
Highlights: If a fun, spacious multi-level family home with an outdoor kitchen, hot tub, pond, and privacy, are on your stay wish list, then this is absolutely the home for you.
It’s hard to choose where to start with this property; inside is top notch, the outside is beautiful, and the location is perfect - few properties in rural upstate allow you to walk to a bar and restaurant, but also be in a quiet oasis away from it all.
Recently renovated, this large family home will delight you with a mix of both warm contemporary and whimsical decor, super comfortable beds, and light and bright rooms. A wood stove, two offices, a large modern kitchen, walls of glass and a separate apartment with full private walk out access offers one of the most flexible homes for a multi generational set up that we have seen.
The main level proffers a fabulous double height ceiling living, dining and kitchen area, all anchored by a fireplace and direct access to one of the many large decks. This level also has the primary bedroom with glass doors providing a view of the pool and its own deck area. An en-suite bathroom with gorgeous shower and huge vanity completes the space. Along the hallway is a second bedroom with queen bed and a hallway bathroom with a tub / shower combo.
Upstairs is the first of two offices, leading through to a super fun bedroom with dog motif wallpaper and twin beds. This upper level also has its own bathroom.
Downstairs, the lower terrace level can be both accessed internally (the stairs are fairly steep) and through its own private entrance. This huge apartment style space has a full kitchen, full bathroom with easy walk in shower, bedroom with queen bed, media and game area with foosball and karaoke machine, and the second office with a twin daybed (with a proper mattress) for the 9th guest.
In designing the outside space the owners have thought of everything and spared nothing - pool, terrace, dining, sunbathing, hot tub, kitchen (with sink, fridge, rotisserie and cook top). There’s also a lovely aerated pond with a dock.
For lunch or dinner, the 20 minutes to Kingston will get you into the areas best restaurants or just a little further north, 25 minutes to Woodstock. But for many the absolute best part is that Upstate Taco, the famed Mexican restaurant and bar, is within an easy 5 minute stroll of the house. This super fun local spot is a must, and a big favorite of the owners.
Guests can also take advantage of the homes’ well stocked kitchen, where the professional grade appliances will no doubt contribute to the makings of many great meals. For true relaxation, we have a rota of private chefs who can come and cook something spectacular for you.
Like all Upstate Place properties, this home has a pack n’ play, highchair, baby bath etc. available to make even the smallest guest’s stay welcoming and easy.
The house would be ideal for a family or a group of friends vacationing together. It is also very well suited for a multi generational family, as it has a separate ground floor apartment with private, easy access.

Upper level has the office / library, a guest bedroom with twin beds, and full bathroom.
Lower terrace level has its own entrance (there is also internal stairs, caution, they are steep) to a living room, full kitchen, bedroom with queen bed, bathroom with shower, office with daybed.
