Big Island Visit

Beautiful View

We absolutely loved our stay at this condo. The views are amazing and food and shops are all within walking distance. We come to Kona every year for golf and some beach time and always book one of these condos. You won’t be disappointed!

Peaceful and Comfortable

Great location - easy access to water activities (scuba companies and snorkeling beaches), and driving to Volcano National Park and the North Coast area. The unit was nicely furnished and clean. We enjoyed listening to the surf, which was right below us!

One on the nicest places in Kona. Well equipped kitchen, comfort inside. and out. Betsy came right over when we needed help with the TV. This is Luxury at it’s finest.

Serene and beautiful. Ideal homely tropical vacation experience

The location is conveniently close to the town center but far away enough to be peaceful and quiet, especially at night. The interiors are very fresh and make you feel right at home. Everything we needed from detergent to body-boards were supplied. And that balcony is simply wonderful; full oceanview that is the perfect place to watch the sunset. The dolphins that could be seen nearby every morning didn't hurt either. We are already anticipating our next visit!

Absolutely Great!!

This place was perfect! Stunning views! Comfortable and had everything we needed. Quiet neighbors. The numbered parking is fantastic! Never needed to hunt for a place to park and parking is right outside the condo. Betsy did a great job communicating and check in and out was super easy. Location for us was perfect and we all enjoyed the sound of the waves. Loved every minute of our stay. Thank you again for sharing your place with us!

Wonderful place to stay.

This property was the perfect spot for us. There were 4 travelers. It was very reasonably priced. This had two bedrooms/bathrooms, full kitchen with a lovely patio and view of the ocean. We were able to buy food and have breakfast daily along with a couple of dinners. The location was also great. The kitchen was fully stocked with utensils...dishes, pots/pans, silver ware, glasses etc., which was great. If there were a complaint it would be we all tended to like it a bit cooler at night.

Right on the Ocean!

This condo was really well-stocked. Beach chairs, boogie boards, towels, water shoes, cooler, snorkels not to mention the full kitchen. We were really comfortable and enjoyed our time on the lanai, especially. The furniture is a little dated, but the bed was comfy, and the kitchen/bathrooms were really clean and nice. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place. It was husband's favorite condo of the whole stay. The ocean can be quite loud here. Which is PERFECT if you love to listen to the ocean. We enjoyed it. However, I wouldn't recommend this place for anyone with hearing aids or hearing difficulties because the white noise of the ocean might make it harder for them to carry on conversations.

Amazing views of the ocean!

This property is well equipped and well stocked. The views frim the lanai are stunning. We saw whales and spinner dolphins off in the distance every day. We never sat on the living room once as we were always outside when we were there. The pool was wonderful to use as well. We rented a car so we could get to all the amazing snorkelling spots. We did the night time snorkel with the manta rays with Fair Winds Cruises. This is a must if you snorkel and love the ocean. Check in was easy and Betsy is super friendly and took care of any questions. The only draw back was that the ocean waves did keep us awake sometimes so bring ear plugs. We had an awesome time in Kona and this unit is lovely. We will be back to rent it again!

The condo was the hit of the trip!

This condo delivered on the VRBO description and the photos. Absolutely everything, including the best furnishings we've ever had for hanging out (comfy couches, heavenly recliners, relaxing lanai furniture). We spent a good deal of time at the condo because its experience and location were transporting! The kitchen, bathrooms, laundry, and beach gear all had plenty of amenities -- soaps, cleaning supplies, seasonings, etc. -- everything we needed upon arrival so we didn't even have to do a supplies run the first night; we could just relax! And Betty is every bit the attentive and thoughtful host that previous reviews said she was. She's created a perfect getaway for us to do what we really needed -- rest and rejuvenate! Oh, and it was mid-80s for both temperatures and humidity, which concerned us about AC, but the sea air and crossbreezes just from opening the windows (screened! Yay!) and doors and using the fans made quite the fabulous wind tunnel! A+++++++++!!!!!!

Wonderful place to stay. :-)

This was the first time we tried out an accommodation via VRBO. We have to say it was just great. :-) On our arrival everything was ready and the appartment looked clean and nice. It had all we needed for cooking (the kitchen is well equipped) as well for beach days (big beach umbrellas, chairs, snorkel equipment and even a body board). We had breakfast every morning on the balcony with the great view on the pacific ocean. Our son just loved it in the morning to see the waves rolling in from the sea. We also were lucky to watch multiple schools of dolphines passing by during the early morning hours (6.00-6.30 am). The appartment is well located in the area of Kona and we had a lot of fun with our little son visiting the beaches around the area, going on a coffee farm visit and exploring more mavelous beached all along the west cost. We also used the pool multiple times when our little one was a bit "grumpy", which helped alot. Moreover, we also ordered a baby crib and chair from ALOHA KONA KIDS which worked out very well in regards of the delivery on our arrival day. We can highly recommend this appartment for a nice stay with kids. Best regards Stefan
