The place was neat and clean when we got there. The host was very quick to respond and took care of things we needed to do:) would definitely come back and stay here again when we visit back.
We had a great stay here. The apartment was clean and well stocked with all the essentials. Close to many stores and restuarants. Would book again if need be. Communication from the owner was good and he checked on us to make sure all was well.
The neighborhood was fairly quiet. This is one of my favorite areas. The inside of the unit was immaculate. And the space was perfect for a comfortable family. Check-in was *slightly* confusing, but otherwise, it was amazing. The host often responded within a timely manner and was easy to understand. I would definitely return!
The apartment is clean, nice, well equipped with everything we needed and charming as described. The only issue is the overnight parking. I followed the host’s instructions and got ticketed. Apparently Oak Park has a complicated unforgiving parking system. So if you have a car, you’ll need to plan for overnight parking carefully to avoid ticketing. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay in the apartment.

Disliked: Cleanliness, communication, location
We only felt comfortable staying in this home for one of the two week stretch we had booked it. Our experience was that we entered at 8pm, the rug and couch were both fully wet, I let the host know. There was a slight smell, it was low level enough. The next morning the smell had increased significantly and I notified the host and asked for it to be fixed while we were out for the day. The cleaning lady they sent didn't have the right keys to enter, the host was out of town. I got back at 6pm with my two young kids and the smell was too powerful we couldn't enter at all. I had my kids sit on the stoop and I tied my shirt around my nose while I sprinted through to gather my belongings. No refund was issued for the remainder of the stay, despite many calls texts and emails.
My family and I loved the home. We got to experience Chicago as if we were one of the neighbors. It was great. There was also a pickleball court across the street from the home. The home was spacious, safe, and the neighbors were welcoming. We love the experience. Communication between host was perfect. We would highly recommend this home to any family or group who needs a good safe home, a good experience, and pickleball across the street. Thank you much for a great time.
