Last night in Honolulu

This is a hotel, not a “home” with two bedrooms. The listing should be updated to reflect what kind of property you are checking into. With that said, the hotel wasn’t bad. It was at a great location with tons of shopping, restaurants, and the beach very close by. It was our last night in Honolulu after returning from a 7-a day cruise, so it our stay was comfortable. Next time, I will book directly with the hotel.

I did not realize this was a hotel. There was NO name of the property which made it difficult to locate with GPS. We had to find our own way to the valet area. Only with Gods guidance! Not happy

Inaccurate website description and customer support

First and foremost, this listing is titled private vacation home in Honolulu/2 bedrooms and is listed again on the cover photo as “entire home”. Photos depict it as a 2 bedroom hotel suite. When we finally arrived at almost midnight we were placed in 2 separate hotel rooms, not even adjoining and down the hall from one another by an elevator and was told rather rudely by hotel staff that this is for separate bedrooms and they could not help us. When VRBO was contacted they said the same-they are unable to help us as this is a 3rd party booking. Very disappointed in VRBO for not handling this better. This is clearly not a private home and we would not have booked this for a family trip. How could you put 2 teenage girls in a hotel room off a busy street and near an elevator. Furthermore because the rooms were considered separate res reactions fees and deposits were charged on both rooms. VRBO, Do the right thing and list the property clearly.
