About this property
Pristine Mid-Century Modern Home
We are excited to add the Allison Townhouse as our newest addition to our list of premier vacation homes! Designed by Robert Lloyd Buckles and built in 1963 for Leroy Allison, this historical home is now available for all to enjoy. This home is perfect for you if:
• You love architecture and furniture design
• You want to experience the 60s while having modern day amenities
• You want to tour Route 66 or the only town named after president Lincoln prior to presidency
Please read the remainder of the description to get a full picture of our home!
Our home is setup to accommodate all your needs during your stay so all that is listed below is at the house for you to use:
• Bath Towels
• Washcloths
• Hand Towels
• Body Wash, Shampoo, Conditioner
• Hand Soap
• Bed Sheets
• Laundry Detergent
• Cooking Supplies
• Coffee Pods
• Salt, Pepper, Olive Oil
• Board Games
• Smart TV
• Fans
Although this is a vintage home, we do have central heating and cooling. We have a smart TV as well so that you can log into your accounts and stream all your favorite entertainment.
You will see a garage in the pictures, but the garage is closed off and not accessible during your stay. There is a driveway to park your vehicle and plenty of free street parking as well.
The home is in downtown Lincoln so please understand that it is not a completely quiet home 24/7. We are off the main strip so not as busy as other places, but you may hear some traffic and there is also a train that runs through Lincoln. The train will sound its horn periodically throughout the day and we want to be transparent that you will most likely experience that. The benefit of being so close to downtown is being within walking distance all that Lincoln has to offer. Some of our favorite places are below:
• Guest House Coffee Shop
• Joe Pizzeria
• Lincoln Movie Theater
We hope you choose to stay at our property and feel free to reach out with any question!

About the host
Hosted by Joe Bafia
Our family loves to travel and we are originally from the Midwest. We own property around the country in the mountains, at the beach, and everywhere in-between. Now we share our properties with others so they can experience the country the same way we love to!
Why they chose this property
Lincoln is a very charming and historic town. The people are all nice and there food in the town is good. Just a few hours outside of Chicago and St. Louis its east to get there if we so choose.
What makes this property unique
As you can tell this property is one of a kind. Beautifully designed from the structure itself to the furniture and fixtures it is a well kept blast from the past that can be appreciated by all.
