The Space:

Settle into a relaxed coastal retreat designed for easy time together. This standalone home sleeps 6 across three comfortable bedrooms and three full bathrooms, making it a great fit for couples, families, or a small group of friends.

The main living areas are simple and welcoming, with space to unwind after a day on the trails or at the beach. Step outside to enjoy the garden/backyard with outdoor seating and a BBQ grill, or soak in the private hot tub while you take in the sea views. A private washer and dryer add convenience during longer stays.



You’ll be close to Sea Ranch’s iconic coastal paths, coves, and architectural landmarks, as well as communal recreation centers with pools and tennis courts.

• Parking: Parking is available for up to 2 vehicles. Sea Ranch does not allow overnight street parking; please use designated parking only.

• Stairs: This home has stairs. Please review the photos to ensure it’s a good fit for your group.

• Connectivity: Due to Sea Ranch’s remote coastal/mountain location, Wi-Fi and cell service can be spotty or occasionally unavailable; speed and reliability are not guaranteed.

• Communal amenities: Sea Ranch pools and tennis courts are managed by the HOA. Availability and hours may vary by season and maintenance.

• Pet policy: This home is not pet friendly. Evidence of pets during or after your stay will result in an additional cleaning fee.

• Private washer and dryer available for guest use.

• Check in is at 4:00 PM and checkout is at 10:00 AM. We cannot guarantee or approve early check in or late checkout requests in advance.

• We recommend considering travel insurance, just in case any unexpected changes come up. We do stick to our cancellation policy and want to make sure you're covered!

Wonderful Sea Ranch House

This house was wonderful! Perfect for the five of us with lovely ocean views, a modern well-equipped home with great kitchen and bathrooms. We also enjoyed the cozy gas fireplace and the fun selection of puzzles and games. We will definitely stay here again!

Great stay at Sea Ranch

My wife and I love coming to Sea Ranch and having a nice place to stay at is key. The house is very cosy with an awesome kitchen and great views of the Ocean. We got a chance to go for some really neat walks and even saw a fix and some rabbits. We would definitely stay here again!

Excellent property

Very nice property in Sea Ranch. Would stay there again. Lots of space and good basic kitchen supplies. Straight forward pricing unlike some other properties that try to slip in “guest” fees.

The kitchen in this house was the best stocked of any place we’ve stayed in the past. The drawers and cupboards were labeled, making it easier to find what we needed when cooking. The master bedroom was not only located on the main level but it was also not directly below the other bedrooms and far away from the living room and TV making it very quiet place to sleep. It was the perfect house for our group. We all loved watching the wild life grazing in the yard and the view of the ocean. I can highly recommend this house.

Couldn’t be better

Four buddies rented Sixpence for three nights for a get-away from the Bay Area. The home was very comfortable during some windy and stormy days and nights. I think the fireplace was on non-stop. We got out to hike whenever we could so the location was perfect for accessing the Bluff Trail. Very quiet and the home is well appointed and happily not too much clutter. Sleek and clean. Already considering going back.

quick getaway

House was beautiful - really well appointed. Short walk to Shell Beach. Have been to Sea Ranch many times and this was one of the nicer homes we stayed in. We usually bring our dog which limits our choices. The difference between a "dogs allowed" vs no dog home was obvious. It was just my husband and I but this house would be super comfortable for a family.

This property was extremely clean. This house is a short walk to the bluff trail and beaches and has a fantastic view from the living room! It’s comfortable, and well equipped. The back deck and hot tub were lovely. We also enjoyed watching movies in the living area with the gas fireplace going. A couple of things to note: there were air fresheners (which we don’t care for so we set them outside in favor of fresh air), there is no Sea Ranch trail map provided, and one of the windows in the smaller upstairs bedroom is hard to open. We would also recommend that the owners provide a dish drainer/rack and some bar stools. We would love to come back to this home!

Relaxing Weekend

Great place to celebrate my wife’s 60th birthday with close friends. Fabulous views from the family room and upstairs bedroom. Only minor surprise was that the two upstairs bedrooms share a bathroom. I didn’t expect that given that the house has 3 bedrooms and bathrooms.

Very nice property- clean and comfortable and good location. Wish there was a screen on back sliding door as it made cooling down challenging. Coffee pot needed replacement- management company delivered within the hour! Would recommend

The Sixpence is probably the most beautiful of all the homes we've stayed at in TSR. It's tastefully remodeled with quality fixtures and materials. As others have said, the kitchen is wonderful and well stocked. Those planning to cook should be aware they need to bring all pantry supplies (olive oil, herbs and spices) -- not a criticism, just an FYI as every home differs. Aside from that, it has ample supplies for prepping, cooking and serving. There's a nice Weber grill (propane) on the deck, which isn't shown in the photos. The gas fireplace added lovely ambiance and warmth to a rainy stay.The wildlife didn't disappoint! Deer, rabbits, and turkeys entertained us, and the humpbacks were in full display.The house is near Highway 1 but it's extremely quiet. You do see occasional cars driving on the road in front of the home.It's an easy, short walk to the bluff trail.We will definitely stay at The Sixpence again. It's a great spot for one couple, just utilizing the first floor, and is also well suited for up to 6 people.

Sea Ranch Bliss

A lovely four-day vacation! The house was wonderful, the view and walking trails exceptional, and we couldn't have asked for more. There were a couple problems that were somewhat promptly repaired (stuck window in upstairs bedroom, clogs in upstairs bathroom). The only other issues were that the fireplace was broken which was disappointing and the tv and remotes were very difficult to figure out (instructions that were printed out didn't work), but we managed. All in all, we are looking forward to returning some time soon!

Perfect Weekend

Superbly maintained property with great light, views, and spaces. Pluses: An easy walk to a gorgeous seashore, cozy gas fireplace, modern kitchen, and immaculate interior. Minuses: The rock hard mattress in the master bedroom was hands down the cruelest that I've ever encountered, pillows could use replacing, two sleepless nights due to bedding were a huge disappointment. The spa is a chemical laden petri dish that smells like a biology experiment gone wrong, there's a little too much of everything cooking away in there.

Lovely Property

We really enjoyed our stay. The view across the meadow to the ocean was beautiful. We say plenty of deer (including fawns), rabbits, birds. The open floor plan of the main floor is really convenient and comfortable. The kitchen is great for cooking. The hot tub was divine, as well as the back yard deck. The beds are firm yet very comfortable. And the living room furniture also is very comfortable. We noticed only one flaw (and the reason for a 4-star review instead of 5) -- a couple of the double pane windows may be leaky, as moisture gets trapped between the panes and causes several cloudy windows. Nonetheless, we would stay here again without question.
