Property manager available with information on restaurants, shopping and must see places nearby, car not necessary taxi anywhere in town $1-2, neighboring communities around $5-8, Ecuador has same currency as US. Taxi from Quito airport $50-65

Why they chose this property

I visited Cotacachi in April, 2012, immediately fell in love with the area, the people and the life style. The village sits in a valley between two dormant volcanos, the views of the mountains are a daily treat, always changing, always beautiful.

What makes this property unique

There are beautiful areas to visit and enjoy, many are pictured on this site, great resturants just a short walk from the condo, the indigenous people are absolutely a delight, gracious, caring, once you are a friend you'll have a friend for life. Great shopping for anything leather. We plan to retire there someday.
