I highly recommend staying here for comfort and location. The host was so easy to communicate with, and check-in went smoothly. We loved having the convenience of bringing our fur baby with us, and the backyard was completely fenced, so we didn't have to worry. Pleasure Pier and restaurants were all within walking distance, which made it an ideal place to stay.

Easy check-in, great location, host was responsive & prompt. The beds were comfortable. The house was not clean. Urine in the toilet upon arrival, hairs in bathrooms, our feet were black if we walked barefoot on the floors. The dishwasher was full upon arrival. They need to update the furniture in the living room as the chairs and couch had an odor and were visibly dirty. Disappointed in the cleanliness.

Very sorry that you felt like the house wasn’t up to your standards. After discussing with the cleaning service lemon pinesol was in the toilet and an over site with the dishwasher. I am glad you were satisfied with the costumer service as an early checkin and late checkout was granted at no additional cost. I hope you will give us another opportunity.

Great Location for family!

Beyond the Blue was a great place for our family to spend Christmas! There was plenty of space for the six of us and our puppy. We had a short walk to the Seawall and a quick drive to the Strand. The homeowner even had a Christmas tree up when we arrived! The owner was easy to work with and was fast to respond to questions. We can’t wait to come back!

Lone Star Rally

A few friends and I were lucky enough to stay at this beautiful house. The size and location were perfect for what we needed on our 3-day weekend to attend the Lone Star Rally. The house was very clean and much better in person than what I saw on the original listing (which says a lot). Thank you for the opportunity and I hope to stay again next year.

The good: beautiful house, clean, kitchen well stocked, nice appliances, comfortable beds, great bathrooms, excellent location - 1 block to the seawall and walkable restaurants and bars, 10 minute drive to the Strand. Everything we wanted. The bad: We returned from dinner and were swarmed by termites. I immediately contacted Joey. He owned up to it and handled it the best he could. It was a slight inconvenience and we made the most of it.

First off Google does not recognize half streets. So put the address into your GPS and it will take you to R street. Could not reach the property owner to assist. After locating the correct property (2hrs) you are greeted with an extremely strong mold smell. We put our food in the kitchen and went to the beach. When we got back, all of our food has been swarmed by ants. We had to throw all of it out. There’s a wasp nest in one of the patio chairs, which we were attacked by while trying to enjoy our morning coffee. Overall, we survived, but it was definitely not worth what we paid.

First off I am very sorry you didn’t have a good stay. Google does recognize 1/2 streets we use it all the time. You contacted me at 4:39 and I responded at 5:15, not two hours. I was on a plane. The house has been remodeled, new couch and we live close to the beach so no mold! We have an exterminator that comes quite often but there has been a ton of rain!! On another note the people that host work very hard and use a ton of money to ensure guest have a good experience it is unfortunate when things happen that are out of our control and we get bad reviews. I always let guest in early and check out late. I leave water by all the beds and have beach equipment for guest to use. I have a light airy home for guest to enjoy with TV in every room and games for the kids to play. Again I hate that you were unhappy. We try very hard!
