Puertazul By The Sea is a private 4-bedroom villa on the Juan Dolio beachfront — the quiet, local side of the Dominican coast, where you get the same turquoise water as Punta Cana without the resort wristbands, the buffet lines, or the crowds.

The villa sleeps 12 across 4 bedrooms and 7 beds, with 4.5 bathrooms so nobody's waiting their turn. Air conditioning throughout. A fully equipped kitchen for groups who like to cook, and a BBQ and outdoor areas where most of the day ends up happening — long lunches, sunset drinks, kids running between the pool and the beach. Private plunge pool for cooling off between swims, and parking for 6 vehicles.

What makes this different from a standard rental: the villa comes staffed. Housekeeping daily from 9 AM to 6 PM with fresh linens and towels every day. Our groundskeeper lives on-site, so if anything needs attention, someone is already there. You are not managing a house on your vacation.

It's the kind of thing groups book on day one and then rebook for the last morning before the flight home.

Juan Dolio sits about 25 minutes from Las Américas International Airport (SDQ) — a short, easy transfer we can have waiting for you — and under an hour from Santo Domingo's Colonial Zone, the oldest European city in the Americas. Beach bars, seafood restaurants, and golf are a short drive, and the water in front of the villa stays calm and swimmable year-round.
